The dark and menacing hawk owl makes a great companion for any melee class, contrary to the great horned owl which seems better suited to caster classes. My draenei warrior brings a hawk owl with her into battle to strike terror into the hearts of her enemies! And it works like a charm… or at least it seems to whenever she's fighting field mice…

This pet would be much cooler if it randomly attacked some of the critters roaming the world.

My Moonkin-Druid has this pet. It just makes a perfect owl/owl combo. Now i just wish it had antlers aswell ;)

Okay if you find this sometime you will understand this. This was the pet of the day when warcraft pets launched pet comments. So for everyone in the future and my future self this is to remind you when warcraft pets became great!

This pet also compliments dark colored armor pieces very well, such as most of the rogue sets. I have this on my rogue who wears the 8/8 Shadowcraft set in major cities and I think the Hawk Owl just looks cool with it.

For any pet that comes from the opposite faction, make the effort to travel to a neutral auction house, and save yourself on the added expenses usually associated to your faction auction house.

My first companion! It matched my night elf so well! :) I don't see to many of these flying around. This one flies a little higher then some other flying type companions.

This was my 4th pets and i bought it myself. And that would be AWSOME if it killed other critters you go by. hey you should send a letter or e-mail. This was a good pet until i left it in a room with my great horned owl. All i found were feathers everywhere. But no worries went to that girl i bought it off and she said she found her cold and bald near the waterfall.

Does anyone else think of the Rock-a-Doodle movie when they see this guy? I almost wish one of his idle animations was to walk around on the ground singing about hating the light.
