Strand Crawler

For your information, the Drop rate did increase. It used to be really really low. Just like the Baby crocolisks! :) But you probably already knew the drop rate for the "Crocolisks in the City" was increased to 25% (Am I right?).

Well still, it's just a luck thing. I got this pet on my 59th daily. Just like I tried (and still trying) to get the Skeletal Horse from Strat' (126 runs so far). Luck...just luck

I do not see how the drop rate could have increased... I really wish they made this a reward for doing the dailies a certain amount of times or something. I am pretty certain I am cursed when it comes to fishing rewards though... might have something to do with this fetish I picked up at the tournaments...!

Yes the drop rate increase doesn't seem to really fit in. Been doing the daily since it came out got six bells, four waterlogged recipes, two bone fishing poles, one jewled, two epic gems yet no crab. The croc has definetly increased though.

Edit: I finally got the crab after months and months of doing the daily. 11/15/09

Well, I've been doing the fishing daily every day since the droprate was increased(and before then, as well) and just today finally got it, so I dunno what the droprate is, but it's certainly MUCH lower than the crocs(once the droprate on those was increased I was getting a croc nearly every other time I did that quest).

Sometimes I like to get on my Warlock (Or Mage, what I am, my good fellow defies explanation), summon the Strand Crawler, and do a little....Role Playing.

I disagree completely with any kind of drop rate increase speculation on this Crab. I have done this daily every day since it's release, I have plenty of fishing poles to show off, made a good bit of gold off some bells, statues, and paintings, and quite a lot more. Yet the crab continue to elude me from day 1. Had the rate increased, then by all accounts, that thing should be mine by now.

I have done this daily at least 150 times and still no pet

I am having a bad time with this too 100+ fishing dailys an still no crab (im almost to exalted with the kirin tor by doing this daily for the crab) i must have the worst luck.

I've been trying solid since I was eligable for the dailies, only today did I get it, I've looted thosands of pigmy potions and even a fishing hat. Now i've finally got this guy he's awsome :3 Him and Mr. Pinchy are best friends, he especially loves it when I take him for day trips to stranglethorn's beaches, aaah good times.

I had my best luck ever obtaining this pet - I got it on the very first Dalaran fishing daily I completed - I was shocked and thought the pet must have been pretty common. I've done the dailies many times on 3 different toons now, and haven't seen it drop again.

Looks like this little fella is affected by the "well polished" bug of 3.3.3. Don't know how long it'll last, so get your screencaps with the blinging version of this guy while you can.

It took many dailies, but winning this little charmer had an ulterior motive. My boyfriend bragged for days about how he fished up the sewer rat. Well I got the last laugh, I did!

I have been working on this little guy for quite awhile! For a couple of months I was doing this daily and the Viking Giantess daily (don't tell them I don't remember their name! : D ) for the polar bear mount---- and now I have a polar bear and still no crawler! lol I can't complain-- I finally got all the crocolisks, thanks Blizzard for drop increase---- and amazingly got a blue drake my first time through Oculus! Wouldn't be fair if I was that lucky all the time! ; >

I've got it on my second daily! I was so surprised, because i'd never expected to see it. cause, normaly i got the worst drop rate-luck in the universe.
And even luckier, i got my jewel from the sewers (thats the only quest i've ever got so far) on my second cast!!!

This cute little fella is the smallest fishing pet I own. He makes a skittering sound as he runs along. When you stand still he makes a watery sound while blowing tiny bubbles - which float upwards until they burst!

Ever since I got to Dalaran and didn't get disconnected, I had been trying to get this pet. 2 months and 14 days later, which was today, I was able to finally able to add this great pet to my collection.

Didnt even know this was a pet from fishing daileys, happend to do my 1st fishing dailey and got it, intersting, but as a pet collector im very happy!

Hopefully, I will soon see the benefit of the increased drop rate! Congrats to those who have it already! Really, nearly 50% of collectors have this pet already??!!

got this the first time i did a daily fishing quest in dalaran, wasnt expecting this guy at all then rushed online to put him on my list ^_^
