Notes:
This pet may be used by non-engineers. It uses the same model as Wood Frog. The recipe is a rare BoU world drop found on random [46-60] mobs. This pet is a reference to Philip K. Dick's novel, Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep? which inspired the movie "Blade Runner". In the novel, a lone android toad is discovered in a barren wasteland.

This used to be the Lifelike Mechanical Toad. He looked more metal and jointed like the squirrel and chicken. I kind of miss that he's not very mechanical looking anymore. Maybe engineers are just getting better at making "lifelike" things (or maybe it's because they put a Living Essence in there... who knows?)

Bring the following to your friendly neighborhood engineer:

12 Thorium Bars
1 Gold Bar (enough for 3 toads!)
4 Runecloths
1 Living Essence
1 Rugged Leather

Notice that this pattern is a rare drop, and not every engineer will have it. As a matter of fact the rarity of the pattern makes this pet more difficult to obtain than say Tranquil Mechanical Yeti

This may not be very helpful, and I doubt its usefulness. However, my guildies and I thought it was pretty funny.

So today I was feeling a lil frustrated and upset in general. What did I do? I went to the auction house and bought myself a Lifelike Toad. I said: "Wow... We spend 200g getting all the finicky little pieces to make this toad mechanical... and it looks just like a real toad."

This guy needs to look more Metal, he could be like the Exploding Sheep and have pieces of machinery showing, or ANYTHING to make him look different from the Wood Frog!

For all you engi's lucky enough to have this schematic, your sitting on quite a good gold maker there. On my server you can buy the mats for around 50g and you can sell the toad for anything from 125-250g.
