Scourged Whelpling

I spent months with one of my alts camped hovering above Sindragosa's Fall, trying all sorts of theories, only to never even see a single one. Today I finally just decided to switch it up a bit and take a different alt on a different realm there, and bam! Three of these guys just hanging around. 73.08,38.19 @ 10:30AM PST Nesingwary US to be exact, uncommon to boot.

Even with this CRZ craze, I think that trying a different server can't hurt, especially if you're not seeing them day after day.

wow I think I hit it lucky this morning! I went to Icecrown to check on the unborn val'kyr and whilst flying down from the tournament grounds a LOAD of the whelps were up - never seen so many (yesterday none were there!).  I forfeited about 8 before i found a rare (I already had a poor one) Not sure if I hit the '24 hr since server restart' that they were before or if they've just buffed the spawn rate but either way I am happy :D

you have no idea how hard this was to get on a level 40.

then i went to Sindragosa's fall and died, respawned at the graveyard in Sindragosa and found 4-5 scourged whelplings at/near the graveyard.

Got mine at 10:22PM CET. Was a poor one, but I'm lucky to have at least that one :)

Just captured a rare (level 20) in Icecrown at Sindragosa's Fall (73.35, 39.31) server Azralon at 10:55PM server time. It was accompanied by two cockroaches, one of them was rare quality too. Good luck!

I had never seen this lil guy on my server before today.  Read some of the comments here and decided to go kill any battle pets i found in the valley, went back up and nothing.  Went down and killed the few critters i could see, went back up, nothing.  Flew around for ages then decided to take a break, came back to comp and there it was!  The killing battle pets/critters thing might have nothing to do with it, but worth trying it!!  Mine spawned at around 69,41. GL all!

Twice now, I have caught this pet as a rare at 9.30am server time. The first time (yesterday morning), my pets weren't at full health and died, then when I found it this morning I managed to cage it and win the battle. I had an alt parked in Sindragosa's Fall for close to a week, checking often for it to spawn. Happy hunting!

The most powerful battle pet when maxed and rare.  Couple it with a clockwork gnome and watch the mayhem.  For a third I use the Wild Thunderling Hatchling, Lightning does 9 rounds double damage + increased damage for each of the turret ticks, and the 5 roun Corefire Imp or Jade Oozeling. Bonus damage and healing that starts to take place is sick, especially against a slow moving team.  Also, imp is perfect against shield teams; +damage causes attacks to penetrate. Sick.

i have been seaching for this pet for literally weeks and i finally find a rare today at 14:20 server time - time to hang up the tabard - Finally!!!

I finally caught a common today at 3:45 a.m. server.  (72,40) and got the Northrend Safari achievement. woot!   then an uncommon at 68,35.   They are definitely few and far betwwen... thank goodness that's done!

Finaly got mine today, i should get the notherend achievment but my mago who i have is not counting, anyway am glad i got it , it was green  maybe one day a rare :)

I have been farming these little guys for the past 3 days @ about 4 to 5 hours a day trying to get a rare, I finally got my rare at 4:11pm server time (I'm on Shandris server). My best advice if you are wanting a rare is to save a Flawless Battle-stone for this guy because they have a VERY slow respawn rate and in a hours time you will only see 1 or 2 spawn. stay near the blue ice area cause thats where they will be and be patient. I killed probably 35 to 40 of these whelplings before the rare.

I have spent hours upon hours at this place and I have yet to see even one spawn.  I don't even see anyone else there camping them which is unusual.  I think Norgannon has that cross server problem like some others, we can see them flying over on the flight path but as soon as we get there. there's nothing.

Found Poor quality at 71.9 47.3 On Zangarmarsh server at 725pm or 925pm EDT in Icecrown near Sindracosa's Fall. My first try! Good luck to all, I didn't see anyone around looking for him but one other person. Level 23 H/H [they come in H/H and P/S]

I like to refer to this as a Dragonkiller, it's a DTP (double threat pet) like most elementals are vs. mechanicals.

It's Undead and takes 33% less damage from dragonkin abilities and the humanoid ability Call Darkness does a lot of damage to dragonkin.

Plagued Blood paired with Tail Sweep provide more than ample self healing allowing this little brute to trample most dragonkin out there, both wild and trained. 

This is a GREAT pet to have for any pet battler/collector.

Thanks to other comments on here, I ambled over to Icecrown about an hour after server restart and straight away found one. Although it was a common, at the end of the battle I was told I'd won not only the pet but a stone as well. Thanks Blizzard!

Finally caught one, this past Sunday around 8-9pm server. I was waiting for a friend in Dalaran, and decided to fly over Sindragosa's Fall to see if by chance there were any around. Saw one paw. Grey, but lovely all the same! Found another this morning at 11:38am server, and was uncommon. Killed him by accident so I forfeited the others. He reappeared at full health! Caught him and looted an Undead battlestone for him at the end. Hope the times help, check often!

Just got a rare one.  I wasn't trying for a rare on this one, just any!  I never see those paws on the ground for this pet, but tonight I flew over on a whim and there were 4 paws.  The first one was a rare.  No idea about the others but I announced it on trade channel for others.  Not sure why there were so many out but they were definitely there today on my server. 

Finally, finally, finally i caught a poor quality one.

Found at 71.46 after a couple of months of trying!!!!
