There seem to be more details and personality in his icon than in his model. That makes me a little sad.
P/S version got decent strength and is pretty fast for an undead. Cower and then stampede combination can be useful both in PvE and PvP. Not a top tier pet but quite close. Can take opponents by surprise since it is not often used. With Stampede and Scratch(hits for about 500) it really kills other undead quickly. And with 50% damage reduction from Cower you should easily be alive yourself. Stampede is ofcourse useless during Sandstorm of vs Shields, but very nice vs Decoy.
Common throughout all of Silverpine. There are a bunch in the Battlefront.
I caught mine at lv 4 on Fenris Isle. There are some that apear to be "under" the water, most likely in some sort of cave, however I found mine on the land next to all the vile fins. NOTE: DO NOT use any AOE near any battle pets you wish to battle, it will kill them. I know with all these vile fins running all over you may be tempted to, but don't do it until after you get your pet...
There are still P/S breeds of this pet available. Didn't take me long at all to find one (found mine on Fenris Isle). The biggest difficulty is finding a natural rare, but with the increased accessibility to battle stones, that is trivial. I just found the first P/S and will battle stone him later. Many Blighted Squirrels at Fenris Isle and along the waterfront to the west. Happy Hunting! :D
Have had a P/B breed and love how tough he is in battles. Went to try and find a P/S variant and read the comment about nothing but P/B's available. First few I found were P/B but came across a H/P uncommon which I captured. Renewed hope that there is a P/S out there somewhere!
Half dozen battles later found a P/S uncommon near the Gilneas Liberation Front Camp. No rares yet, but can upgrade him if needed. =D
while trying to farm for a rare p/s(ideal breed) in silverpine, i notice all breed was H/P, there are no more P/B, P/S breed.
I found two Rares, one right after the other, near that marshy bit right before the Greymane Wall. I don't know if the proximity of the crocolisks made them better survivors....
First one I found was a rare on Fenris Island. :) Cute little guy.
Found a rare lvl 3just inside the purple boundry at Ambersill (58.5/60.9). Searched all over Silverpine and the islands for about 2 hours with no luck. I took a dinner break, came back and there he was. All by his lonesome. Cute little fellow too.
so far have found a lot of uncommon and poor but no rare as of yet :( will keep trying.
Found 8 poor qualities of these before I finally found an uncommon... good these guys are almost everywhere!
