Day 2: 209 kills, 20 stacks of borean leather, 4 arctic fur, 7 green drops.

I am so lucky! Found it after only 173 loots! :D It wasn't too bad ~___~ and I got 20 stacks of leather, to boot! yey for money~

installed bunny hunter im on 2 hrs and at 243 kills luck never on my side wooooot kill 348 and i got it ..didnt notice him at first since it was a white drop, but bunnyhunter had a Yay! you found the Gundrak Hatchling! sweet now on to the firefly and crimson welp

I'm at 1137 so far, been farming 6.5 hours. No pet yet but I have made a couple thousand gold from leather and killed the rare spawn.
Hoping it won't take 5000 kills but who knows? If it does it would be well worth it =)

Edit: got it finally at 1401 loots, 7 hours 34 min =D

Day 3 of farming: Sigh,rounding the 500th kill or so.. who even knows at this point.. got the bf farming as well. I hope to see it soon!
After about 5-6 days of farming (1-2k kills total) from anywhere from 1-3 hours it finally dropped after 130 kills. I was so excited to finally see it! I thought it was just a myth for a while. I did make about 2500 gold off of leather and saw terror spinner twice.

so... 1204 kills.. so far.. will continue.. i must have it
1447.. going strong.... 1876 and calling it for today.. 3 days in a row farming. still nothin :/

yepp still going.. 3063 kills now.. still nothing. i'm starting to wonder if it's still availble

About 500 kills and it was mine :-) ....makes up for the grief the firefly is still giving me with 5000+ corpses!

Hoping for the luck of the site!! I am at 2024 with this and the Sprite Darter Hatchling as my last two drop pets (I am not looking forward to that one).

I am sitting at 146 pets and will be getting my Blue Jouster and Pengu tomorrow so getting pretty excited about finishing this up. Good luck all!!

after many sessions of farming for a couple hours or so a piece i am now up to 2294 gundrak kills and still counting! i guess i should keep my patience and keep at it, i have had tremendously good luck farming for pets in the past and now it seems that luck has finally ran out! trying to keep up the positive spirit, but i tell ya, i am soooo sick of this snowy landscape and music and raptors! i'll be glad when it finally pays off... *update* 2474 was the lucky number, hallelujah.

Read about this little guy and had to have em. Did quest up on the hill for eggs n bagged em in 25 or so kills. Got very lucky.

I got lucky. For about a month now I have been doing random farming circuits with my DK whenever I was in the area. It finally dropped last night. I estimate it took a total of 300 to 400 kills to get the drop.

Now I have to get one for my hunter!

After spending countless hours farming this pet with no luck, it FINALLY dropped for me today after only 8 minutes and 30 Gundrak Raptor loots!

*EDIT* I continued farming the Raptors after the first one dropped, and looted a second Gundrak Hatchling dropped just 132 kills later.

Don't give up guys!

Have farmed for over 2k kills, still no raptor... I will keep on trying since this is the last raptor for my collection!

The first time I farmed this I got it after just 78 kills, but this time I'm farming it I've killed 207... yes, that's not a lot but I'm tired of farming already lol. But I'm gonna keep trying. =) Good luck everyone!

After seeing it on the AH for 12-19k (no thanks), I sought out to farm this badboy for myself. It was the last raptor pet I needed and I was having no luck with the Hyacinth Macaw or Fox Kit.

There are 32 raptors in the area, the first respawning by the time you kill the last in a circle. As a non-tracking class, I made some "Tracker Snacks" via cooking to allow me to track where the raptors are, because you don't want to miss one.

149 kills later, I finally have this little dude.

Almost 3000 loots & still nothing. hoping this site really is magic. lol Good luck to anyone farming this little guy. ;)

First time I got this pet, it was on accident. I was farming Borean Leather in the area, when I was tagged by a bat I had shot, a raptor that had aggro'd and the Terror Spinner. I downed all three as NPCScan blared in my face. Got the hatchling off the accidental raptor. This time, as I farm it for a guildie, I am disheartened. Have lost count of how many kills, but I have spent well over 40 hours actively farming this thing, and still nothing. I'm hoping this changes soon.

I was lucky on this one! I went out there and killed about 115 then I took a break from WoW for about 30-45 minutes. Logged back in and started killing and after 15 kills I got him! The only down side to farming this pet is the distance between each raptor. I was just about to log on to my Druid so I could just pop in and out of flight form for less down time in between each kill.
