Celestial Dragon

It's not clear yet whether it will be an overall nerf, but his breath attack has been replaced with an elemental attack. This means his only dragon-type attack is the one on a long cooldown.

A pretty good tank and can deal some super damage. I don't find Breath as strong as others say but I still love this pet.

I recently got the achievement littlest pet shop and have yet to receive the celestial dragon has anyone heard anything about a glitch.

This was my first level 25 pet.  Started with her because, well she is just pretty.  Works well to catch other pets since she can keep healing herself through the misses.  She will always be my fav, and better be since one of my guildies named theirs after me. ;)

In my opinion, this is one of the best battle pets available. As many others have said, it's great for leveling lower pets. It's also able to solo most of the NPC tamers that can be challenged daily - including some of the Pandarian ones, such as the Whispering spirit. Personally, it's a core member of my group of battle pets, rarely exchanged for anything else because of its usefulness.

I'd already collected this beauty just prior to MoP, so she was the first I started leveling. Sparkles was my first 25 and she is a beast. Love using her to level other pets and tackle the tough Tamers.

Hey guys, i recently got the littlest pet shop achievement, but i haven't recieved this little beauty yet, any help in why this is happening?

I use this pet to help level other pets, and now that it has Starfall it does the bulk of the battling to capture pets as well (Moonfire would occationally oneshot a pet while Starfall does pinprick damage).

Fear not Starfall: if you capture a pet and then accidentally kill it with Starfall, you will still get the pet.  Now if you'll excuse me, I'm off to release the poor beetle I made the test on...

Don't know if it's the best of the pets nut it's definitely one of the best. I've been taking down trios of 25s in Pandaria with her solo at level 21. An excellent battler.

I cycle Moonfire, Breath, Ancient Blessing, Breath - repeat until they crumble. She makes it too simple.

Probably one of the best balanced and consistent battle pets out there. On the uper end for HP and Dmg also has a nice combo heal w/moonfire buff. Some argue that the heal isnt as good as others, well for a 3 round cd that heals for up to 600+ with a crit w/buff compared to some of the 2/3 round heals w/5 round cd that heal fer a total of 1k + i beg ta differ. He works great on legendary tamers, for lvling pets and is good for pvp if u know how to cycle ur cd's like u should. 

Don't switch abilities. Ever. First three are the best. Moonfire, Dragonbreath, Ancient Blessing.

For PvE Battles, this will leave most enemies at half health while you're nearly full.

For PvP, your milage may vary. A smart opponent will open with Mechanical or Humanoid if they have it, or weather changer of their own to counter the Moonfire/Blessing combo.

I also duo it with lvl 4-20 leveling pets. I can easily start with low pet rotate out, then finish all 3 level 24-25 pets with it and just keep going. Not uber elite in PVP battles, nothing special, but VERY dependable in wild pet battles.

I still have no idea why this pet is so popular.  This is one of the least impressive dragons available.  The Ancient Blessing heal available in the second slot is not as good as Cauterize, Tranquility or Emerald Dream.  If you don't want to take the heal, you are then left with conflicting weather options with Arcane Storm to Moonfire/Starfall.  The slot 1 basic attacks aren't even buffed by the weather. If there is a worse dragon in game, please show me.

Combing the WoW web pages on battling I see the Celestial Dragon's name alot and for good reason.  I duo this guy with all my lvl 3-20 climbers for fast leveling with minimum down-time.  Being my 151st pet I named him Bacardl (that's with a lower-case L on the end since Blizz has Bacardi on it's banned list)  Tah!

I really love this pet.  I'm very partial to dragons as it is, but this is one of my most favorites.  It was the reason I got into collecting vanity pets. :)  I do use mine for my core battle group and love using her.  I named mine Celeste. :D

Useful while leveling, especially when just firing up moonlight for the other pets.

Otherwise i found this guy rather unimpressive. The breed type is less than optimal and the moveset is sub-par compared with spawn of onyxia or infinite whelpling.

Looks nice though, albeit a bit hyperactive when following flying mounts :).

This one i use to my core grp, stats its good, and her heal ability help her and my another 2 pets, with buff and always save the day when fight tamers, even opposite pet have strong abilits against dragonskins, i dare use her my pretty Starlight and roflpwn them

I just started doing pet battle a few days ago and it became pretty apparent based on his 2 high damage abilities and healing that this little guy was going to be the core of my team.  He is level 23 now and he even rolls over things that his attacks are "weak" against.

I named mine Elegon. I'm so witty! =D

Got this pet a couple weeks ago, and its awesome. I`ve been using this pet to boost my other pets up in lvl. Best pet ingame for sure :)
