As of patch 5.0.1, this pet could be purchased from various vendors for 500 gold. When fueled, Warbots will attack nearby Warbots fueled with the opposing color. Warbot fuel of either color may be purchased from the same vendors who sell the Warbot.

Prior to 5.0.1, this pet was only available to players who created a Mountain Dew Game Fuel account before August 20, 2009. A Battle.net account was also required to redeem the pet. Upon signing into the promotion page, the player was able to redeem a Warbot in the mailbox of each current character on his/her account sent by Jepetto Joybuzz in Dalaran. 5x Red War Fuel or 5x Blue War Fuel were obtainable each day during the promotion so long as they were retrieved from a character's mailbox before midnight on the same day.

I also think its a shame they put him in as a vendor pet, I was proud I got a promo pet. If they add this guy in, why not give us a chance to get all those China coke promo pets? Seems only fair!

I really hope that they replenish your ability to get fuel. I know it was a promotional pet, but maybe if they had just let you get one fuel that perma-colored your pet (you could choose per toon which fuel, maybe?) rather than consumables that will run out.

I'm too afraid to use my fuel unless I know someone else is around I can battle. So they're just gathering dust in my bank, waiting for the day my bot can cry havoc and let loose the dogs of war!

Upset that you can't get this pet or other unavailable ones? Well in MoP, because of pet battles, any pet can be sold through the AH! I'd reccomend saving up some G though, cuz they're probably gonna be pretty expensive.

I was heartbroken to find out that you could no longer get the fuel. I love this pet but his battle pack looks so horrible empty. Oh the battle royals of Dalaran.

This pet doesnt show on my armory import either, even tho I'm running around with it. I tried rebuyiung it but you can only learn it once. Any ideas?

Just bought this one from the vendor in Org before going to bed. No one wanted to have a match since it was late tho, maybe today. Hmm perhaps I should have waited and crafted one with my engineer to save some gold. What will the required skill level to craft one in MoP be?

In addition to getting your hands on the schematic to make one of these you can also just buy one for 400 gold from Blix Bottlerocket (toy vendor) in Orgrimmar. As well as the toy shop in Dalaran and vendor in Stormwind. Good luck collecting!

I have some fuel in stock but I am afraid to use it because when it came out the fuel would disappear if you hearthed/zoned anywhere :( Sucks when you put some fuel in and a BG q pops and your little Warbot appears empty :( That needs to be fixed in my opinion.

I joined the PTR today and had this pet in my mailbox. I was quite surprised because I play on an European Realm and never had it on my Chars. I used a premade char for the ptr.

I was the one of the people on EU realm who managed to get it (then it got deleted, sadly). I copied my char on PTR lately (testing Firelands bosses with the guild) and, surprisingly, I had him in my mailbox :D So I can have it at least on PTR, weee :] Long time no see, cute robot!

This Warbot is a gift from Jepetto Joybuzz, a good friend of mine in Dalaran. I deal in exotic creatures and Jepetto deals in wonderous toys. It looks like he put a warning on the back of this one: "Color's the same, all will be tame: red plus blue, a fight will brew." Hmmm... I wonder what will happen if I power my bot with blue fuel and douse my Yeti nemesis with red paint... *evil grin*
