I prefer the untethered wyrmling because it is a PP breed.

Reflection is an amazing spell and either will use this or crow when battling most aquatic pets.  I dont even know how I got this pet... I didn't buy it from a vendor.

anyone figure out mana surge yet?  Says it does more damage in arcane storm, doesn't do more damage in "arcane winds" which is the weather effect from casting arcane storm, so does that mean only when the actual outside has that weather effect?  I think this only happens in netherstorm?

just got my wyrmling today. It does fly behind me in the air so this seems to have changed. It makes a noice when you click on it contrary to the mana wyrmling. I find the colours rather dull but not a bad pet.

Finally got this one after a lot of work. Yep, disappointed, too, However, it DOES have more animation than the mana wyrmling does.

I'm going to be contrary and say that I actually prefer this pet to the cheaper and easier to obtain Mana Wyrmling. The other wyrmling has one of the least pleasing color schemes available for its type, while the Shimmering Wyrmling is a much more attractive blue and silver. Yes, I'd agree it would be much improved if it could fly, but it definitely gets points with me for being prettier than the Mana Wyrmling.

I was very disappointed by this pet. Getting to Exalted with The Silver Covenant, while not impossibly hard, still warrants more than a recycled, slightly altered edition of the Mana Wyrmling.

Frankly, if it weren't for my desire and compulsion for completeness, I would have likely passed on this pet as a waste of Champion's Seals.

After all the work that went in to getting this pet I was hoping for... more. I vote for a look like those wyrm's around the nexus. They're shimmering, aren't they?

This pet is still a status symbol of a hard grind; it's just not a really cool looking status symbol.

This extremely rare species of mana wyrm is prized for its unique coloration and even temperament.
