Can be found inside the cave near Skulk Rock where larger oozes also spawn.

This pet seems to spawn with great abundance during the morning hours. I Logged in around 8pm cleared the cave by skull rock 4 or 5 times as suggested by a post, with no success of spawning these lil guys. I logged after about an hour and came back in the morning ( 6am server) The cave was crawling with them I was able to snag a rare on my third battle. My advice, if your having issues finding this guy, wait until the Am.
Of all the 5 oozes the Jade Oozeling is the only one which can have breed 4; the only breed with all points in Power. I would suggest that you invest time in obtaining one of these with this particular Breed ID. If you have the time, try and grind for a Rare one, otherwise subject yourself to a lesser quality one and upgrade it. It'll be worth it for the lovely diversity :)
Since not all oozes can get breed 4 this guy would definitely be worth a battle stone, if you can get your hands on that breed.
156 Maggot kills and 3 Oozeling spawns, best quality uncommon. Before and after midnight @ EU server time. If I'm not using a flawless at some time to convert it to rare I might come back and look for another
Do get this pet to spawn you have to kill the maggots that are in the cave and spawned in about 20-30mins! and mine is a poor quaultyi and but I'm glad to have it.
I also had more success grabbing them in the morning. Didn't have to kill anything.
If you're after this for its skills, it is functionally identical to the Oily Slimeling in Borean Tundra - which comes pre-leveled to 19 (after cap penalty) and spawns abundantly.
Trying to get them to spawn is a pain in the tuchas. I did finally get 2 to come up, one down by the pool in the cave, the other in the alcove up top. It was after 7 in the evening tonight. Sadly they were both poor quality. I still captured one, better than having none, and will hope to find one of better quality some other night.
Update: It would seem that if you kill off the Huge ooze by the name of The Direglob after cleaning the cave, the little ones spawn!
11:05 am inside the cave at skull rock. was blasting the slimes and maggots while i waited (about 5 minutes). don't know if killing the maggots helped the respawn, but it didn't seem to hurt.
I was able to farm this glowing guy inside Skulk rock around 9:30am server time. by 10am the spawn rate had all but stopped. I am thinking this is an early morning only spawn. The best quallity I ran across was 'uncommon' 112 power and 106 speed.
i flew into The Hinterlands at about 7.30am and found 6 oozlings inside the cave. After batteling all of them and capturing my self a white quality one, then i found two out side the cave.
the first one was green so i captured this one and at the same time i was awarded a Flawless Battle-Stone. http://www.wowhead.com/item=92741/flawless-battle-stone which i used stright away, came away well pleased.
I have parked two chars on two different servers and checked in on a regular basis over two days long. In the end I found the p/p breed rare I was looking for. This shows that it pays off to have a lvl 60 DK or two on different servers. On Blackhand EU the cave was empty most of the time, while on Aegwynn there where lots of slimes to battle. :)
Currently sitting at two hours of running around in circles, as well as periodically checking throughout the day, clearing slimes and maggots, no sign of a rare quality. I have seen only four spawns, all uncommon. More people show up, both Alliance and Horde. This has been one of the more frustrating pets to hunt for, I'm beginning to think I may just leave it at the level 11 uncommon I have and upgrade it with a stone.
this little guy only spawns in the cave and was hard for me to get, i had to steal it from a horde..lol..
went looking last night found a rare first one but ended up killing it so ill try again tonight
Found a poor one ages ago just by flying over. Decided to go back for a rare and killed the whole cave in order to spawn just one, but most times they seemed to spawn soon after I killed The Direglob. I found 3 more poors and an uncommon. And one I inadvertently killed with AOE on the slimes. I was going to level the uncommon but it is a breed 3. One of my poors was a breed 4, so maybe I'll just wait for a stone and upgrade that one instead. 6+ passes and no bag with Disgusting Oozeling.
Battle pet - undead annihilation. This is my go-to pet to gobble up and digest almost anything. Acidic Goo (damage each round +25% damage), followed by Corrosion (increasing damage from each hit) then Absorb (hit plus 100% of hit is a heal) for a couple of rounds really slaps down the health of almost any opponent, and keeps Mr. Ooze bubbling along.
No spawns when I arrived killed the whole cave three times and got a spawn 21:28-bronzbeard poor quality but I will look for a stone for this as spawn rate seems poor
Just find 4 x poor and 1 x common....17:10 UE server
Early morning strikes again 3:30 am Vashj server time and I found one in the bottom of the cave. Good luck all :)
Clearing everything alive (maggots+oozes) IN the cave does seem to at least encourage spawns, if not guarentee them. Over the course of about 90 minutes of clearing, I saw about 8-10 Jade Oozlings spawn, usually 1 or 2 at a time. Keep running laps around the cave and clear whatever is up - be patient. Also, as a side note, check outside the front door as you run by, sometimes they will spawn just outside the entrance but will not show up on the mini-map when you're actually inside the cave.
