I COULD buy the calf...I'm getting close to where I could buy the spider mount.  I can't see spending that much gold on either - especially when the hippo pets/mounts aren't appealing (Celestial Calf is all "lipstick on a pig"), and the Spider mount can't fly.

I have 800k.  I could get to 1 million but I honstely can't imagine spending every last penny on the Celestial Calf.  It's a nice looking pet but honestly there are much cooler looking pets.

Now, if the appearance was extraordinarily unique and had really cool idle animations I might consider it.  Heck, Argi from the store is a better looking pet IMHO.

Have to add this pet to my excluded list I suppose.

Guys, there is no such thing as Epic quality pets. The teaching item is epic, but not pets, other than tamers pets are epic or greater quality. The parrot is another example of this.

Tip for gold making:

I did buy the Celestial Calf and it is beyond cute.  It is an Epic level pet and I am wondering if it will be designated as such on warcraftpets.

Saving forever for "Celeste" was by far the most fun and demanding task I have ever set for myself in WOW.

The spider mount?  No way, no how.  eck!

Blizz has given us a lot of easy pets in Legion but they've gone out of thier way to make some rediculously hard to get as well.  Even if I did get 1 million gold, I would not spend it all on this one pet sadly. :(

Taking into account current WoWToken prices, this pet functionally costs $570.

I get that they wanted a gold sink for the game, but they could have given us, like, 50 pets for 20k a piece. Or even 20 pets for 50k a piece, and still gotten their million gold.

One pet? Eat a **** Blizzard...

Don't worry, none of his abilities are unique and while the summon item is epic the pet quailty is rare so it shouldn't have absurd stats. We're paying for his AMAZING looks alone. If it takes all expac I'll have him for my own! :D

Blizz trying to make everyone dump their large garrison goldpiles... I suspect there will be alot of these price tags in Legion.. hope it doesn't cause a nasty backlash from people like me who don't have millions and millions sitting around. The gold sellers are going to love it tho!

At a MILLION gold... this pet has the ability to not only massively heal an incoming pet but also reduce it's damage by 50% for 3 rounds.

How the heck will I ever get a million???? I can't even save 50,000. O_O ... ... ... mind blown...

How the Mad Merchant got his hands on one of these otherworldly creatures is unknown. What we do know is, he knows it's valuable.
