This pet was available for a limited time to all players on China servers if they log in with a character between October 19th and November 24th 2009. This gift is given out via an in-game mail to welcome players back to Azeroth after Chinese servers had been offline for several months. In addition to receiving this pet, logging in also also earns eligible characters the Jade Tiger achievement.

Very confusing  pet for me...So many different posts on many different websites. Some say was restricted for China, other say it's possible ti get according to the pet journal that shows no restrictions at all. Anyone has an answerr about that pet or is it still a huge mystery ?

Apparently, this little bugger will be back in MoP, as a random pet that joins your battles, he can be captured. He'll even give a FoS, too it seems!

This pet is beautiful, as is Soo-holu. Hopefully we will see a different color/stone themed one on US servers one day.

Oh hes beautiful! Those in China are somewhat lucky to have him however unlucky to have missed out on some other pets and not to mention the time! I dont know how people survived, Id certainly suffer and feel upset if I couldn't get my hands on Wolk when it arrived! (I was one of those people who bought it at midnight!)

Well played all around and well deserved to those who have him! Id love to see some pictures and some idle movements if people have time :)

'Onyx tiger' is available on Korean servers only. This pet is given out via an in-game mail to bought '3month fixed amount charge' players. plz!! add korean server list!!.

There was a Feat of Strength for an Onyx Tiger put in at the same time as this one. No idea when or where we'll see it, though, alas. I had hoped this model would be a tamable (non-spirit beast) hunter pet one day, so this is as close as I'm likely to get.

Apparently some e-mails are going around that claim to give these pets away DON'T BELIEVE THEM! They're just like the Clysm Alpha Test e-mails, they look real but lead to phishing/keylogging sites!

I think that perhaps Blizzard should make it where all the different realms (EU/China/US...etc) get the same pet (even if they have to use it for different promos.... then people wouldn't be complaining). ....just a thought! =)

I know many of you are upset about pets that are limited to certain regions, like this one. While I understand your frustration, please try to keep your comments regarding this pet constructive. Telling everyone that you think its unfair that you can't get it or degrading another country is not helpful to anyone. Thanks!

I can't help but feel a little "jaded" knowing that I'll never have a Jade Tiger of my own. In fact, I'm "green" with envy thinking about all of you lucky folks in China who received this nifty little idol. But it goes both ways, I suppose. I'm sure you guys would love to have a Warbot or a Zergling. Heck, you can't even get the Panda Cub, which is a bit of a slap in the face considering pandas are native to China. Ok. *smiles* I feel better now.
