This pet is chosen among four vanity pets as a reward after completing a chain of Children's Week quests that begin in Outland. These quests may be accessed by characters level 60+. See the Guide to Children's Week for a detailed walkthrough of this chain. Other rewards for the final quest include Egbert, Peanut, and Legs. Collecting all four pets on the same character is possible (over the course of four years) since the quests are repeatable each year.

Willy's eye-beam animation activates every 3 minutes. If no critter is in range, the timer resets.

This pet is also available as a FigurePets collectible (series 2).

just used a magic Flawless Battle-Stones on it for try if working on no wild pet, and it worked.... my willy is 155 -11 -11 now ^^

Is it just me, or have any of you noticed that when you use a Papa Hummel's Pet Biscuit on Willy, you can clearly see that he has a...er...how do I say this...butthole in the back of his...er..head/body? Yes, it was a pretty disturbing discovery for me.

As of Patch 4.2, Willy has been acting strangely. He now sleeps floating in mid-air, where previously, he slept on the ground.

This pet is one of my other favorite pets.I just found out Willy can pwn a cow, no lie. in cata, go to Olivia's pound and go to the farm with pumpkins wright next to it and keep going straight intil you see cows. Go to the cows and whip out Willy. wait for awhile and then Willy will finally eye beam a lvl 5 cow,really cool. =)

Yesterday, I chose Willy and thought he looked cute for a baby monster. Today I'm feeling regretful after seeing what someone else's monster had done in this semi-disturbing video that Blizz released. Never throw apples at your Willy. Why? See it for yourself!

Allow me to describe his "vocalizations" in better detail, he makes 3 different sounds when clicked on, "Waigh" "Muwaigh" and "Yep!"

There are three pets that I know of that attack critters: Willy here with his eye-beam, Scorchling (with a little fireball), and Lil' K.T. (with a frost tomb).

Hours of critter-nuking fun!!

Edit: Toxic Wasteling "eats" critters now.

Willy has been my favourite pet since I got him.
Hes just SO weird.
Just wish he hadn't been nerfed to have such a long timer on his Eyebeam. Why Blizzard? WHY? Were they worried Willy would make critters an endangered species?

This is a pet that I originally disliked (because he was kind of gross compared to other, fluffier, cuter pets, really.) But I've grown to love him more than most of the regular "animal" pets! He

There was clearly a lot of attention given to this model, especially because they took a pre-existing creature and had to "baby-ize" it. The amount of detail is clear especially with the texture of the flesh and pupil. His cute little teeth are my favorite part. And the noises he makes are perfect. <3

The one thing that always amazes me about minipets is the attention to detail. Case in point: Willy. Here's a pet designed with exquisite features. In fact, if you look carefully at his backside, you'll find that he's even been equipped with the ability to relieve himself. In this way, he's able to wink at you both coming and going! *chuckles*
