Before being able to farm for this companion, players must complete a quest chain. This chain is started at the entrance of the Eastern Plaguelands (from Western Plaguelands) and is given by the NPC Fiona. See our Community Guide: Mr. Grubbs for details.

Got it in the first bag I looted :|

Was getting my self ready for the long haul, and it just appears that easily. Crazy. Dropped off one of the undead trolls up in Zul'Mashar - thought it would be a good place to get huge groups of mobs together.

Nothing like the Disgusting Oozeling experience!

Undead are highest drop chance, I killed a grub, dropped a Bag, no Mr. Grubbs, killed an Abomination (STANDING RIGHT NEXT TO IT) Mr. Grubbs dropped, was about my 100-150th kill, about 15 bags came out of that.

Go to the caravan before you do anything else in the area, get the charm to get the bags and then go do your quests for the area quests achievement and you'll get two things done at once!

I did all the quests in epl that I needed for my achievement and I had fiona's buff the entire time. I got mr grubbs four(!) times while doing the quests.

Corin's Crossing is easily the best place to farm this pet. As an 80 warlock I just ran around the entire town and corrupted everything. By the time I finished looting most of the mobs had respawned and I'd go for another round trip.

Took me about 1.5 hours and I have no idea how many bags I looted.

Regarding the post above me, no the hidden stash does not only drop from the grubs. I got mine from a ghoul south of light's hope chapel. I would say I opened around 30 bags and it took ~2 hours in total.

Didn't take long at all to farm. The bags drops from all the mobs it seems and with an average droprate. Took about an hour after I started the first quest.

JUST got this little guy. Got the buff & headed over to Light's Hope to grind off those grubs that everyone said were a good bet due to them spawning so quickly...ground off of those for a couple hours (Deathwing's shadow descended upon the region but he didn't kill everything during that time). I'd kill plague hounds &/or gargoyles in between whenever they ventured into that area, too...After about half an hour of grinding off solely grubs, I kill a plague hound & I got the stash w/the pet. lol

I'd like to confirm that you can get this bugger from the bats in the zone as well. I was killing them for the quest "Rough Roads," and dropped my first bag. Popped it open and there he sat!

Yep just got him on live. I killed for about 20 min but i also killed everything in site..lol Got him out of a hidden stash off a carrion grub.

I got Mr. Grubbs today after about an hour. He dropped off a plague hound. Got the buff and started to kill everything in my way! :P Good luck all.

I think most of you are just getting lucky. It took me about 700 kills to eventually get him. I'd say the amount of bags that dropped for me was close to 75-100. (I wasn't keeping a close tally). Based on my personal experience, I'd say the bags have a 7-10% chance to drop and each bag probably has a 1-2% drop rate for Mr. Gubbs. Others have posted that the grubs just south of Light's Hope Chapel are the way to go. I concur. They are close together and respawn much faster than anything else

Got mine in roughly five minutes after killing four or five grubs. Only one bag dropped for me, and I lucked out.

Any mobs in the level range drop the bag, I just got mine off of a Noxious Assasin. A wonderful place to farm is in the undead area north of Light's Hope Chapel. There are tons of undead, and by the time you make the full circle the mobs have respawned. Happy Hunting!

If there was a competition to determine the most nimble and athletic pet, Mr. Grubbs would definitely give all others a run for their money. He's an absolute bundle of energy for being such a small grub! My only worry is that one day he'll miscalculate the jump trajectory and wind up in my hair... yuck!
