Before being able to farm for this companion, players must complete a quest chain. This chain is started at the entrance of the Eastern Plaguelands (from Western Plaguelands) and is given by the NPC Fiona. See our Community Guide: Mr. Grubbs for details.

He is indeed easy to get!
While i was doing quests for the loremaster achievement in eastern plaguelands i looted him 4 times, Too bad hes Soulbound would loved to give him to friends/alts! :]

Went and killed all kinds of mobs in order to get this guy. I kept on doing Fiona's Caravan quests as well for the achievement. I got the bag with Mr. Grubbs off of undeads in Corin's Crossing, which was my 38th bag. Then I went on with the quests, and went to get the water elemental samples due south, where I got my 39th bag. Surprise, another Mr. Grubbs.. >.<

The best advice I can give is to go to ZulMashar and farm the graves/trolls. I farmed mobs randomly for 2 hours then went to ZulMashar and it dropped in 2 minutes. High spawn rate of mobs, high concentration.

Mine dropped in a hidden stash from a mob in Tyr's hand. Any hidden stash will do.

Was not farming at all,,,,around my 10th bag. The blizzard luck gods were smiling on me today.

I have no idea how hard (or easy) it was for other people but I just got mine! I only had to looted something like 4 or 5 bags and it dropped. I've seen it drop 2 times so far, in like 1 hour.

I just looted my Mr. Grubbs! As an 80, it took me just under an hour to do from start to finish, including the quests. Mine dropped from a frenzied plaguehound in the area around Blackwood Lake. I found that to be good farming, with lots of mobs and little competition.

Did the quest lines, and first kill was one of the demon hounds, second kill was a grub...had the hidden stash, and inside was my Mr. Grubbs. I am never this lucky with farming the pets, but I was glad it dropped relatively fast for me. Good luck and happy hunting!

Did the quests, took out maybe 12 grubs, got 3 hidden stashes, it was in the third bag. Overall, took me about 15 mins.

I finally got this little guy after about 4 hours of farming. The best place to grind mobs is in Zul'Mashar. Just head up there (I wish I had earlier!), and round up all the graves & AOE. Easy!

He's a real crowd pleaser in Org, doing backflips and such >.<

Can confirm the [Hidden Stash] bags drop from ANY mobs from 40-45 in EPL. You don't have to sit killing just grubs. Find any place with tons of mobs and grind-kill away. Corin's Crossing is a great place with fairly fast respawns and plenty about to kill.

I was lucky though. 1 kill, i hidden satsh, 1 Mr. Grubbs :)

I strongly recommend doing more of the quests than just the ones required to get Fiona's lucky charm buff. It made the process much more fun than just farming. I spent about 2 hours in the area questing & got about 20 hidden stashes, and got so caught up in the quest line that I forgot to open a couple bags - lo and behold Mr. Grubbs was in one waiting for me! It's easy to forget the game has lots of lore and now there are fun new stories to participate in. Have fun and good luck!

I got mine 10mins into farming. I was thinking it was going to take an hour or two due to a guild member getting it after 2hours of farming.

And....bazum! got it at my 22nd stash, and yes i would higly recommend the Grubs south of Light's Hope Chapel, first of all u will never stop farming and they are also quite close one to each other...
Damn that's the cutest undead pet ever :D
90 minutes spent well :)
And now i am off to another one!

Zul'Mashar is indeed a good place to farm. My records show a 12% bag drop rate and it was in the 58th bag - well, in fact the bag contained two of them for some bizarre reason. Shame they are BOP. Anyway, that makes it a 0.5% drop roughly whilst you have the buff.

If there was a competition to determine the most nimble and athletic pet, Mr. Grubbs would definitely give all others a run for their money. He's an absolute bundle of energy for being such a small grub! My only worry is that one day he'll miscalculate the jump trajectory and wind up in my hair... yuck!
