the idle animation form the arts panel totally makes this pet the best for badass idle animations. he jumps and breathes fire at the ground (think scorpion's fatalaty from Mortal Kombat the original), burps smoke rings, and just sprays fire.

omg I FINALLY got this from the Blizzcon guys. But now I have my first murlocy pet! YAY! I want them all but alas! :-( Deathy is so fun. It's like he's practicing his firebreathing and sometimes it gets out of hand. Too funny! It sometimes sounds like he's actually burping when he blows the smoke rings. Love this one!

By far my new favorite pet, even though the idle anims arent in yet. Can't wait for him to jump up and breathe his fire on those squirrels in Dalaran!

BY FAR my favorite pet, in pet battles he makes all the normal murlok sounds but also has this really low dragon like growl. Plus he punches people, so theres that.

Having received this pet from Blizzcon 2010, I can say he makes a great addition to my collection. He has great sounds and animations and he's a very unique little companion. Even with the death of Deathwing he still is a feisty little fella', And makes a great mentor to my new Murkablo. If you see this pet cheap, Then I really recommend getting him!

I am totally digging the new animation! Though when he's following me around, hating Azeroth...he burps so much!!! He sounds like a lil piglet lol. He'll burp like five times in a row sometimes. I need to get him some Gas-X. Grats to everyone lucky enough to get him!!

He always manages to butt in on the most serious situations; I encountered Lady Azshara herself and what does Deathy do? Belch right in her general direction.
I was in Wetlands and Deathwing enters the zone with his dramatic speech.. What does Deathy do? Belch right in his general direction.

As awesome as this pet is (I mean come on its a murloc-deathwing hybrid), for me its kinda ruined by the fact that you get a mini-Deathwing with the collectors edition. Kinda wished Blizz had come up with something a bit different to crossbreed murlocs with.

They showed Deathy in action during the WoW Art panel at BlizzCon. A couple of his idle animations have him breathing fire! LOTS of fire!

By far my favorite pet. Even if as everyone has stated he has the same sounds as Grunty and sometimes even echos the sound of his rifle (?)

I'm sure they will update him eventually. My first murloc pet. Very rad indeed!

So this is what happens when the spawn of Deathwing mates with a murloc. *looks over deathy* Ok, ok... I get it. You're tough. You're menacing. You're on fire. You're evil incarnate. Still, I can't help but chuckle every time you hop in the water and put yourself out.
