Sporeling Sprout

I came up tonight and after about 2 hrs got a rare...behind the NPC Gzhun'tt It is now 4:21 am on Zangarmarsh server. There were about enough in the Sporeggar village area but most were gray. One other person was trying. Weather was mostly dry with occasional rain during my time here. Even though I had humanoids I bought, this one was the first to count towards my achievement Family Reunion. Thanks for comments! I read up before coming out. I love this website :)

CUTE!  Attacks are the best EVER, and, see my comment on the Restless Shadeling to see what pets this pet should be teamed up with.

I just caught this guy 1:15 pm PST on Skullcrusher. I first arrived at 1:11pm and found none around Sporeggar. So I read the advice of the other commentors and flew around and found one battle to kill time.

I found a Sporeling Sprout exactly next to Mycah, Sporeggar's Quartermaster. I was also extremly lucky that my first spawn was a Rare! 

Suffice to say, I fought'em, I caught'em and I'm glad I got'em!

Someone said on wow head that you might have to be friendly to find these. I was unfriendly with them and I found two of them on my way out for other pets.  I accidently killed one then there was another one. It was poor but glad I have one. Also, I found them on the outskirts of Sporagar. 

Found a Rare standing next to the Battle Master in the Sporeling Village.  He leveled up very quickly and he packs quite a punch. 

I use him as my main "go-to" for dragon fights.  Throw down some 'shrooms, hit 'em with a leech seed and then power hit with the jab!  He was soloing mobs very early on and with the self heal I had hardly any downtime waiting for the healing timer to reset.

This guy has some punch....  As a rare it was taking out 23 poor mobs all by himself starting around level 12.

Was flying around Sporeggar at 12:27pm server time, read a comment that says these spawns every 15 mins, so I waited, at 12:30pm server time, a few spawned, clicked the first one and got a rare xD I was at 19.49, 54.16

I was just at Sporegar to catch my first Sprout.  When I got there there were at least 6 so I figured I might be able to get a rare.  Well some stinking horde with the Tamer title decided to be "nice" and went around and killed them all!  I managed to get into one battle and get a common but really?  Was that necessary?  Seems someone who worked that hard to get that title would be a little more respectful of others trying to do the same...Alliance/Horde or not!  

Stood about waiting at Sporregar and at around 3:30pm, loads spawned! My 1st was poor and the 2nd was rare. Can't wait to level him up!

I had such a difficult time finding a rare one that I had begun to wonder if others were pulling my leg.  I finally logged an alt in Sporeggar.  After several days of random checking, I finally managed to encounter and capture a rare Sporeling Sprout.

Was not that hard to get one, I just hung out in the area while doing some low level quests ... after hanging out for a few days, I got uncommons and my first rare yesterday! Now ready to level it up quickly!

This little guy kicks some serious tush in the battles, very powerful little fellow i love him! got my rare at about 3pm server on Proudmoore, the whole area of them respawns every 15 mins. They actually spread out a little further than just sporeggar i found mine just outside the town the area was not classified on the map as sporegar.

I got mine about 5 minutes after the hour, waited and watched and another player got a second one by 10 minutes after.

I hate to continue to add info that conflicts with other reports, but after spending a few hours here this morning trying for a rare, I found that I would get new spawns on these guys every 15 minutes (give or take a few mins).  Every approx. 15 mins 2-5 new ones would spawn (4:07 server time, 4:25, 4:44, 5:00 and so on). This was consistent for me for several hours (the whole time I was there).

Just then i found a sporeling sprout and it was a rare when i battled it. i caught it and just when my darkshore cub was about to finish off the last pet with one more move................................................. I LOST CONNECTION and lost the sporeling sprout along with it. I was so close to obtaining it. i wish you ppl better luck then what i just had :(

UPDATE: When i got back online i saw 3 sporeling sprouts and the first one i battled was rare. I'm glad i redeemed myself :D

After these not spawning at all the first time I came here I tried killing the small frogs and snakes around Sporeggar like some other comments suggested and one spawned within 5 mins, it was rare :) not sure if it was coincidence but I'm very happy

Killing critters appears to make 2-6 spawn every 30 minutes or so. From my experience.

I went through maybe 10 of these, without finding a rare. But other people around me were getting those! Eventually, I got off, and woke up around 9 AM today. Logged on, and headed to Zangarmarsh. Absolutely nobody was here. Not one person, other than me. It may have been 8-9 AM server time. But when I arrived, there were a good 15 Sporelings, sitting there for my picking. Several rares, of course.

I would have to say some of the comments are more theory than exact (sorry) -- rep was high; no rain; found mine in the cemetary next to the Sporeggar (map still says Sporeggar; but if you venture out; it's just Zangarmarsh) at 8:24pm realm time.

A few people were out but this particular pet wasn't; as I didn't limit to just Sporeggar itself. Few trips around, and he spawned.

Poor but who cares so much right now. Can work on a rare later :)
