You can found this moth plus the blue and the white ones in exodar, just next to the stairs that go to the inn. There is something truly wonderful with this yellow moth colors. He is simply exquisite! TIP: When you do dungeon with your friends, make someone summon the blue moth and summon the yellow moth. They often stand next one to another and they are so beautiful one with another <3 (very good job WoW on these moth pets)

Has anyone gotten a rare of this one or any of the others Sixx sells, or is Uncommon the only type you get?

As Lisanette stated, this is an excellent moth for aquatics that dive or headbutt, as the cocoon strike is a great counter for both. Plus, the added damage from getting a breed 4,14 means that lucky hits with moth dust ruin your opponent. I bought 34 with the little gold I had on my lone alliance toon, and got far more of the breed 12,22 and 3,13's than the 4,14's, with just 6 total breed 4,14 from the lot. I figured it might be worth it to lvl these, stone them and sell them.

My dwarf paladin is the keeper of my yellow moth. The two have much in common. My pally has yellowish hair; the moth has yellow in her wings. My pally enjoys a good ale; so too does the moth. My pally serves the Light; the moth frequently gets served by the light… of fires!
