The Chicken has well rounded stats and useful abilities. But with only Squawk as means of defense don't expect it to avoid stuff or be very durable. Go for as much power as you can since no abilities get any extra benefits for going first.
The Eggs can really hurt undead. And if you pair it with call lightning or a damage booster like wild magic or black claw it can really shine.
Level 19-20 Chickens also inhabit Howling Fjord. I caught a rare one in Westguard Keep.
Just captured a rare L21 as secondary on Isle of spears in Howling Fjord whilst farming for Worg Pup
I just got a rare chicken as an addon to a fight with a maggot at the Ruins of Southshore in Hillsbrad Foothills even though it's not listed as a possible location.
Since picking up a rare chicken, I have been entertaining the idea of creating an all-chicken elite battle team. With this team, I shall bring great destruction and terror into the PVP battle queue, as scores of high-powered exotic pets fall at the clawed feet of my poultry peckers.
My chickens shall be great assassins, and shall defecate in triumph all across the kingdoms of Warcraft.
I just found 2 chickens while battling Spawns of Onyxia in Dustwallow Marsh. What is this?!
Seen as secondary pets to Fjord Worg Pups at Kamagua, Howling Fjord
Found my rare at the little farm west of Lakeshire in the Redridge Mountains. There's always several chicken critters there and often a battle pet or two.
Named her after Samari Jack when I realized how good a fighter she is. That and there's an episode where he was turned into a chicken. :)
They're surprizingly tough little birds and "Jack Attack" is fast becoming a favorite even without a healing ability!
Finally found a rare in Elwynn Forest, breed S/S. I've been looking everywhere for a rare, but especially in Howling Fjord's Westguard Keep and Duskwood and only found uncommon or lower qualities. I tried for about 30 mins yesterday and the same today in Elwynn Forest at Eastvale Logging Camp and finally got my rare. Not sure if it is better spawn percentages in Elwynn or if I just got lucky today, but I'm happy!
The chickens are surprisingly good battlers, I named mine Hotwings.
Wanted to catch a rare verison of it and farmed chicken around Darkshire in Duskwood. Caught it after 10-12 battles.
I found one as a secondary pet (to a Rat) in Hillsbrad Foothills just outside the Dalaran Crater.
I was not able to find a "wild pet" chicken in Northern Barrens, only the "critter" variety.
these chickens are easy to get.dont use a beast or a aquatic against these. Most powers u will use are going to be weak if u do that.also, something awesome happened one daay.i got a RARE chicken.oh,and i have suggestion.it would be AWESOME if u could make the chicken do a chicken dance-like dance that the chicken could do,and make it hum it softly like the singing sunflower.that would be great!oh,and a lot of these chickens attacks are weak.i never use them for battle.hope this helps u!!!
