I really don't understand why this pet's profile states that it makes no sound. Maybe it's just me, but in my experience, this pet does, in fact, emit sounds when the player clicks on it. I can confirm this, as when I first received this pet upon earning the Menagerie achievement on my main, I clicked on the pet to see if it made any kind of sound, and it did! When clicked, it makes the standard kaliri screeching/chirping noises, and also an occasional owl "hoot" sound. :)

Amazing bird, only the hyacinth macaw compares to the great coloring of this pet. It does make sounds, three different kinds that I heard. I'm happy this was the pet for the achiev!

I need to whine: I thinks its unfair, that a unique pet can come in 3 different breeds. Specially when one of them is the only 5, 15, S/S breedset owls have.

SHould be noted that with the addition of the pet battle log you are no longer mailed the Kaliri, it just appears in your log. I was very stressed waiting at the mail box and almost opened a ticket :p

The breeds for Kaliri currently available are S/S, P/S and P/B. The only out of 3 with a bit lower value is P/S. Depending on the situation S/S and P/B are more or less equal value due to flyers racial (50% extra speed when above 50% of health) if fighting till death. For overall use I'd be most satisfied with P/B as flyers don't have very many useful breeds with 320+ power and power is useful all the time, speed only if you need to meet the speed limit (and all above the limit is wasted).

The most beautiful bird you can currently find in my opinion. I was lucky enough to get crimson whelp on kill 168 and dark on 102 which gave me this beauty! ^.^

Brilliant Kaliri? Brilliant my foot! I tried training these birds to do the simplest of tasks: stop messing my shop floor. Day in and day out I'd attempt to get these Kaliris to relieve themselves in the hay piles. And day in and day out they'd disappoint me. So now you know the *real* reason that sending these dodos to diehard pet collectors like you. Perhaps you'll have better luck training these not-so-brilliant birds.
