Players can participate in the Argent Tournament, a permanent event in northeastern Icecrown, to earn Champion's Seals. A representative of each race sells a race-specific pet. Alliance characters may purchase this and other alliance-based Argent Tournament pets once they have successfully "championed" that race's cause through various quests. Horde characters may purchase this pet through a neutral auction house and on occasion through their own auction house.

This little guy burrows and sleeps in the strangest places. I had him with me for an ICC raid, and he just kept cuddling up into the slime pools while Prof. P. rampaged around the room. I guess slime is nutritious?

Only alliance can get these pets via quests, however they are Bind on Use so can be sold on the neutral AH. I've bought all the horde ones, for round 7k each on my realm, prices will vary by realm of course.

As a pet collector I go for any pet, whether I like it personally or not. My tauren druid has quite an oddball collection now because of this.

But for the life of me the only thing I can think of when I see this lashling is "Pet Shop of Horrors!" A beak, thorns, creepy tentacles...

My Sinister Squashling is not impressed with the copyright issues this pet imposes on his style. Hiding in the ground? That's his thing. Walking vine? Hellooooo? All squashling. This could become the worst lawsuit in Azerothian history. Except for maybe when that gnome shopkeeper (oh, what was her name...?) was caught in that class-action lawsuit for price gouging...
