I'm a geologist in real life so I had to have this. My miner isn't my raiding toon, so she's not leveled yet. I'm busy working on my main. However...my amazing boyfriend mines for his blacksmithing (prot warrior) and came across one...and instead of keeping it (he's an avid collector of pets as well), he gave it to me.

I was speechless. I have the best. guy. ever.

I wished theyd make a Herbalism pet you could get randomly from herbing, tho I dont think id wanna see what came out of a skinning drop O_o I love this little guy, not very many just abstract pets like this and the purple color goes perfectly with my phosphorescent stone drake, that has purple crystals stuck out of its tail.

This little guy is awfully cute for a rock! I like how the spikes orbit the main center - they remind me of ioun stones.

I seem to be extremely lucky as well, as I have managed to find four, yes four, of them. Note that there are elementium/rich elementium veins on Tol Barad and Tol Barad Peninsula, too - I found two of them there.

If you're a miner, don't give up! Just remember to tap every elementium vein you find!

I wish it would shift through a set of colors or come in different colors representing the various types of gems.

I knew I'd get one of these pets as all 3 of my toons over level 80 have mining. What I didn't know was the joyful shriek I would let out when after about 5000+ Cata mines, one finally came to be in my possession. I joyfully showed it to my guild and while they freaked out over the current AH price (at the time around 2k gold) I was gleefully memorizing it to my collection. They call me crazy. I call me happy. Gold can always be farmed for and is limitless. This pet to me was priceless.

I finally broke down and bought this one after no luck on my miner. It's one of my favorite pets. I love the size (I was expecting it to be a LOT smaller) and the color is gorgeous :)

:) i just bought one of AH for what i consider a more than fair price of just 100 gold. Especially scince i never plan on leveling my mining soo high.

i eventually broke down and bought this little booger off the AH for a few hundred gold. being an avid miner i figured i'd stumble across this one naturally after cataclysm but alas, no dice.

I got one of these mining when cataclysm first came out and gave it to my sis. Wound up buying a second one for myself for the new pet achievments

So far I've mined hundreds, if not thousands of nodes. I leveled fast and had Deepholm all to myself the very first day. No luck as of yet. 8(

Got mine today just mining on the way to a Q hand in. It looks super neat. Very glad one dropped for me =)I was planning on spending hours mine farming for it but I guess I lucked up. =D About time too I have the worst pet drop luck. Especially when it came to the whelplings.

I got mine while mining in twilight highlands after about 200 nodes but it was roughly my 1,000 node total i thought about selling it but i'm to much of a pet freak LOL

I'm ecstatic that miners are able to dig up these lively little elementals for the rest of us. Why? Because I'm tired of furbolgs coming into my shop trying to sell me their inanimate "pet rocks" that just sit there and "look happy." I'm not a fool. My customers aren't fools. In what crazy idiot-filled world would anyone actually pay good money for kitch like that?
