After completing the quest Zen Master Aki, the quest chain for the Pandaren Spirit Tamers will unlock.
Completing the initial Pandaren Spirit Tamer quest will allow players to choose one of four pets. It will also unlock the Spirit Tamer dailies, which reward Pandaren Spirit Pet Supplies.
The bag reward from each different Spirit Tamer daily has a chance to drop a corresponding pet, so it's possible to acquire all four pets; Pandaren Air Spirit, Pandaren Earth Spirit, Pandaren Fire Spirit, and Pandaren Water Spirit.

I use this battle to level pets:
25 rare rapina whelk & 25 rare Fluxfire Feline do all the work and can take down all three of the spirit's pets between them, letting you get 1,000's of xp for another pet.
These two pets work on nearly all the battles in Pandaria - making it easy to get the 30 & 75 level 25 pet achievements. I hit 30 today :)
was so happy to finaly beat the thundering(the hardest one imo) and chose this one as the first spirit pet :). sadly i also got it from the bag when i did the dailys :P
Got it today out of my 4th Bag. I didn't have trouble with it (not as much as I did with the Thundering)
The Pets I use against him:
Humanoid (I use the Pandaren Monk) against Dragon
Rapana Whelk against Elemental (and Flying if it survives)
Arcane Eye against Flying.
I actually try to start with the Fire Elemental, a strider or Emperor Crab can rip it apart quick. The dragon pet is annoying because his DOT and attacks hit hard. I use the aquatic to soften it up for the rest of my pets to clean up. I think I'll name this one Zuko.
I usually have some trouble with this guy. But I think I've found a steady team now. I use:
- Flayer Youngling (humanoid)
- Shore Crab (Aquatic)
- Softshell Snapling (Aquatic)
I used 2xheals through my two aquatic pets and it kept me alive to beat him. Good luck :)Burning Pandaren Spirit

did the beginning quest got the air spirit since it was in my opinion pretty cool looking. today i took to the battle a 25, kun-lai runtm a 25 emperor crab, and a 25 summit kid. it was a pretty easy battle against the fire guy, he cheats, heck they all do, but i cheated with the move that lets me go first. Anyways downed all 3 pets very fast got my pet bag and this bundle of joy was in it. However they seem kind of weak at low levels wonder how they fair at higher levels lol.
Was doing the daily for him for the first time (which is bugged for some reason, once you do it it won't come back) and he dropped. I may not be having luck in finding certain things but he's something I'm happy about.
He was sitting at the little ledge at the North West part of part of the mainland in the Steppes for those who have lost him.Ok, beat this guy on the quest, now can't re locat him, what is his location?
with me it was the opposite. I beat the 4, took the earth guy as my reward, and got this guy in my first daily bag.
After beating the four new tamers (they are cheaters!) I picked this little guy as my quest reward because he seemed to be the toughest to beat, then I got lucky and got the earth spirit in one of my loot bags when I beat them again for the dailies!
