I love the fact that he uses abilities that he actually uses in the raid! Like elementium bolt, which is probably the most powerful spell I've came across in all my pets (so far). Not to mention, he's also very adorable!

This bro is one of the hardest hitting pets I have. At level 25, his power is 357. Elementium Bolt usually hits for about 900+ damage on a non-crit with no bonuses. Tail sweep hits like a truck. Darkness is useful situationally (hits hard with human damage and blindness), but Roll can buff your Elementium Bolt to make it even more lethal. I like to pair him up with the Ghostly Skull and your four round burst damage can wreck most teams, assuming no massive pet family disadvantages.

So what's the point of the "Roll" ability? I don't quite get it. It deals little damage and makes your foe stronger...

Orcter's comment doesn't seem accurate to me. The CD Key is bound to your Battle.net account, not the computer it is installed on. I purchased the CE recently and to get Lil' Deathwing, I went to my Battle.net account, went to Account Management, selected "Add Game" and entered the CD key. Afterwards, my ordinary WoW Cataclysm was upgraded to WoW Cataclysm CE. I then logged in and collected the mount.

Guys, calm down. Deathwing is only this beautiful pet without his pet biscuits...so no biscuits, please! On a serious note, Lil' Deathwing is VERY large when fed a biscuit. Also, I do think it should have more animations. But... if Deathwing had armoured plates bolted onto him...his whelps are born like that?! o_O

Don't know if this is a bug or intended, but: Unlike all other CE- or account-bound pets so far, Lil' Deathwing disappears if you transfer a toon to a non-CE-account. You keep the Feat of Stength but lose the pet.

Very pretty, nice model (at least the jaw is different), excellent textures. But I wish he followed me when I fly, and that he breathed fire like my Deathy.

I really love this lil' guy, but I kinda wish that he did more like the Deathwing themed Murloc. Anyway that's my opinion but I seriously love the look of this little whelp, one the best in my opinion! : )

Lil Deathwing is by far the best looking whelpling. However it would've been neat if he did a little fire breathing, or left a smoking trail.

Make sure you order all Colledtor's Editions early from a store. You don't want to be sitting around when everyone else is enjoying the new content.

I'm so happy that Blizzard is sticking with the whelplings for the CE pets! I hope everyone is just as happy as I am with this new pet!

Thank goodness this miniature version of Deathwing is more subdued and calm than its larger counterpart. One cataclysm is enough for me, thank you very much. The last thing I need is a mini cataclysm tearing apart my pet shop. I'm fairly certain my insurance policy doesn't include pet-induced cataclysms.
