Was looking for other rares in the Highland Twilights and I kept getting rare black rats as 3rd wild critter.  I nabbed one for myself since the black rat I had was from a lower level area.

I caught my rares in the Twilight Highlands, and they seem to be rather frequent. A lot more of them than other rares I've been trying to get.

I was flying around looking for these in the Wetlands. On my first battle with one, I got a double team of 2 black rats. The first one was a common and the 2nd was a rare!

Got a rare one (lvl 13) while looking for rare twilight iguanas in Thousand Needles. It joined the fight with a poor quality iguana.

I could say it's 99,9% to found a rare in Twilight Highlands, all black rats that i found was rare ( around 30 ), i don't know why :P
