If there was some sort of bug causing a high rate of rares back in November, it's been patched.  I've done a several dozen battles in Shadowmoon Valley looking for a rare and keep coming up empty.  I've seen at least one rare of every other type of pet available in Shadowmoon except for the roach.

I have fought six of these today, and ALL were blue. O_o;; While this is awesome, I have to wonder if there's some sort of bug making them all spawn as rares!

Have been playing with these guys in Felwood, they run around in groups of two or three. These groups all seem to have the same extra pet join in and all are of the same quality. I don't know if its intended but its certainly helpful if you accidentally kill one you wanted to catch or if you get two pop up you want to catch.
