Coral Adder

Found 5 just north of moonwater retreat (66,86). They were all poor quality but at least I finally got one.

I just found six Coral Adders between Moonwater Retreat and Pearlfin Village on the edge of the Bamboo Wilds... it was evening (6:15 pm server time) and raining, if that makes a difference. One was Uncommon, the rest were Common or Poor - so I got my Uncommon at least! It seems they do spawn in fair numbers, but in a VERY small area.

Just got a poor quality of this one at the coords given near Moonwater Retreat! Only one I saw.  Also did as suggested and cleared all the surrounding battle pets and that maybe helped him spawn.  Its a poor, but its mine and it counts!  LOL!  Just before this it was snowing in Storm Peaks and my first tame of the fox kit was a rare!  Woot!  Lucky day!

But there are no full grown Kodo Beasts in the Bamboo Wilds for them to bite...i mean, they arn't even on the same map or even continant. And since it is just outside the Allaince camp, how many Tauren's are going to be riding out that way?

You have a 10% chance to get a rare folks just because you got a poor or common is just bad rolls of the dice..

I'm on Wyrmrest Accord, and maybe it's either other hunters (that I don't see), timing or sheer bad luck, but the most I've found so far have been maybe two rezzed at the same time, both poor.  This thing dings my stats! :(

Spent a lot of time the past few days with an alt just above Moonwater Retreat.  I can't even count all the coral adders I battled with.  They were ALL poor quality except my last one which is a green uncommon.

Went to the area listed in comments.  Found three.  I captured a rare at 64.0, 85.0!  Thanks for the comments. I love it when people leave cordinate tips!

It was a lvl 23 weakened to 21 by capture.  It had a Sandy Petrel and an Emerald Turtle with it.

Virgar, I followed your coords, found two poor and one uncommon. The uncommon was the second one I found.

Should also mention that the ones I found were poor, they're pretty rare so grab the poor ones when you can! :D

Do not limit your search for this little bugger to Bamboo Wilds. They can be found around Dreamer's Pavillion, Amberfly Bog and Moonwater Retreat too, albeit just as rarely.

This was very annoying, a very small spawn area and not very clear information on Wowhead or anywhere. It doesn't seem to spawn as a secondary pet.

I have been looking in the Bamboo Wilds for weeks now without a single sighting. Could is be a phasing issue? I have completed all of the quests in this area.  I am wondering if I just need to try on an alt who has not finished these quest lines.

Like everyone else, I picked him up in the Bamboo Wilds. Took me a while to find him, but they are there. Got lucky and picked up a rare on my first try. Took forever to capture him, he's pretty tough. Good luck.
