Decided to take my mage over and farm this lil guy up today and after 103 kills I got it. Since the mobs you need are only in the very front part of hte instance, best bet is to kill them all and then simply run out, reset and keep going. Good Luck. Now on to farm one for hubbie. :)

I got this after one loot... Im still amazed. MAybe Blizzard has taken pity on me after it took me four weeks to get the phoenix hatchling at the Magisters Terrace (and yes, the phoenix hatchling was meant to be a one-in-ten drop) whereas the deviate one is still (i think) a one in 100 drop? : /

Anyone farming for this, dont give up.. you could get lucky.

Got my first one in 5 loots, 2nd in 37, and 3rd in 128! got really lucky! Just got another last night, after 131 kills. My girlfriend didn't get him till 665 kills.

Got really lucky with this guy, used one of my lower toons so I could also level my skinning and I got him after about 35 loots :) I wish I had as much luck with my fox kit :(

Yesterday i farmed for this pet: 5 runs and no pet.
Today i farmed for this pet and in the 4th run i killed 4 raptors at ones. And 3 of those droped the pet!!
What are the chances of that?!

Found this guy by farming the raptors in the first section of WC. Kill'em all, loot, skin, reset, repeat. Didn't realize that I would get locked out by doing too many resets within a short amount of time. :-( So, when I got locked out for the second time, I broke out one of my lowbies who needed to level her skinning. On her first pass through, it dropped for her!

normally i farm for my own companions, but while checking the ah i noticed someone selling one for 100 gold, i quickly snatched it up as i've seen them normally go for 4,000 gold on my server. this made my hatchliing pet 111. lucky find and one of my lucky numbers.

I have just farm cat carrier (black tabby) for 14 hour before i got him, and went for this one... 4 min and 20 kill, there it was ;)

I know this is a companion that is easy to get, but 7k on Ah? Dont even think about bay it, get it your self. more fun that way ;)

I wasn't even trying to get the pet, I was farming for the gloves of the fang. I got bored after a few runs, so I picked up the dungeon quests there. The first raptor I killed dropped it! I sat there in surprise for a few seconds.

Just randomly decided to start farming this little guy today. I was fortunate enough to snag him on my 3rd clear of WC.

I ran around in my Shadow OS popping a Devouring Plague on all the Ravagers and Guardians I could find.

On to the next pet!

Been farming this at least once or twice a day before grinding another pet. Probably done the place 30 times now and still no luck, heading over there for one last set a 5 before calling him done for the night.

I got this to drop for me on my 219th kill (I've dl the rarity add-on to track for me). If you are into rep achievements I do recommend throwing on your Gilneas' tabard as someone else suggested and killing "two dinos with one instance" hehe
