There are 17 different feline beasts with identical movesets. The only difference (battle wise) is the breed. For the 4 cats that have a breed choice, only the Sand Kitten and the Snow Cub cannot be mimicked by any other breed. The Cheetah Cub is the fastest with 390 speed. The most powerful is the Cornish Rex Cat with 341 power. The healthiest is the B/B Snow Cub with 1481 health. The amount of health restored from using Devour increases with power.

I took an alternate route. I waited until the daily in Tanaan was the 100 teeth quest. You get 100 Blackfang claws as a reward. It's slower, but I can't stand multiple hour grinds and I still got the pet.

If you are specifically farming the claws for this pet (or one of the mounts) as opposed to killing for rep- the smaller the group the better! A good tank and high aoe dps can burn through the mobs almost as fast as the average 5man group, and the less people you have to split the loot with, the better. My husband (ele sham) and I (blood dk) can crank out enough claws for us each to get a pet in under two hours of farming, depending on how camped the area is.

Got this one yesterday after 3.5 hrs of rep farming, which got me to Exalted and gave me about 2.1K fangs. Go to Fangrila, find a group of 3 to 5 persons including a tank (if you're a DPS, don't forget to go get your 9 stacks of the debuff in the fel lake for additional damage), and farm the "village", the "beach" (+ the rare there) and the cave (+ the rare) and you should be good to get this pet in a few hours!

Pets often look a lot like their owners, which is especially true if the owner was a saberon.
