Purchasable only during the in-game holiday, Hallow's End. Tricky Treats can be obtained during the event from candy buckets inside friendly inns, defeating the Headless Horseman once per day, as well as quests and dailies.

When this pet's owner mounts up and takes flight, the Feline Familiar will mount up on its very own miniature broom and fly alongside the player.

This black cat will also make Stinker's heart flutter but it's a short-lived, one sided romance.

@1brotherbill You need either a Beast-family stone, or a "flawless" (useable on any family)

Is there anyway to make this guy rare?  What stone do I need?

As if being a black cat with a witch hat wasn't enough, it kicks butt!

I go with an Onyx Bite + Stone Skin + Devour ability set, and it makes FF one of the few Beasts that can take down a Flying pet with little issue. Stone Skin negates most dots, stampede type abilities, and at the very least helps soak up some of the harder hits this pet may take. Devour = kill to heal, so always awesome.

Leveled mine up pretty quick on DMF Isle while hunting.

A fave!

Having seen this pet in the top 20 and read the comments of it being a good pet to level, I instantly leapt to the Auction House and bought an upgrade stone, making it Rare. After that it was a breeze to level and took under an hour to get it to level 15 with no deaths and no trouble. Simply using 'Devour' as the last move on a pet keeps it healed and going, meaning you don't need to run and get your pets healed if your mass heal is on cooldown, and it gets in a hit on the second enemy. Brill!

Hands down one of the best grinding pets in the game for a few reasons. It has a defensive ability Stone Skin that blocks most dots, and almost all multi-round attacks. It's Onyx bite is a very strong attack, and stronger against flying types (one of the common secondary pet adds) and it's Devour is strong against critters (one of the other common secondary pet adds). Plus Devour when used at a good time, pretty much heals half of your health. First pet I lvl'd to 25 and my favorite to grind w/.

I love the Devour ability on this pet.  I can typically go many rounds without having to heal it.

I had started to level this kitty because it's one of my favorite pets ever and I needed another pet for my cool cat team. It's an awesome pet. The prowl, call darkness, or even onyx bite (so you can take the damage reduction skill) combo is incredibly powerful. Now I just need to get my other kitties up to 25! Despite being female, I named mine Binx. It was too fitting.

Despite the fragility, Stoneskin allows her to ignore most DoTs, so it's a good trade off.

... wow.

I have gotten around to leveling this one in Kun Lai. Granted, a lot of Critters and low power multi-hits, but at 15 it's taking out 2 25s before I have to switch out.

Worth an upgrade stone, yes. Prowl+Call Darkness hits very hard, can kill many level 25 enemies in one hit. Unfortunately, she is quite fragile. I have level 18 pets with more health.

Has this pet stopped following you on a broom when you're mounted?  Mine has just been swimming through the air, which is far less awesome.

Edit: And now, after posting that, it started working correctly again.  It was waiting for my confusion.

Now that pets are account wide, I was able to concentrate on getting the vanity items from the vendor that sells this pet on my main and left getting the pet to an alt! This will work for any holiday or event (such as the Darkmoon Faire or the Argent Tournament) pet bought by a special currency so you can work on several pets or items at the same time and not have to wait to get them.

I love this pet. I love everything about her. She's always with me, whenever I quest, explore, raid, or battle pets. She's my main battle pet. One of my guildies has even called his Feline Familiar after my character name, 'cause I'm so in love with this pet. Thanks Blizzard for making this wonderful pet :)
