Can be found near the town of Kamagua on The Isle of Spears which is located on the western coast of Howling Fjord.

There's an old vrykul saying that goes, 'Let sleeping worgs lie, unless you don't want your face anymore.'
Searched for this guy last night. Lots around. Easy to get an uncommon or lower but I killed about 80 and no rare so I gave up.
Decided to try again and after MANY kills no rare. Finally decided to grab the one that spawns inside the tree trunk kind of in the middle of the island. Used /tar then the interact with target key bind and wouldn't you know it... RARE!
Got a rare pup on the fourth try. There's no shortage of Worg Pups on the island, so you shouldn't have any problem with finding them. They do stick around close to the adult Worgs though, so if you are around their level, you may want to kill those first so they don't interrupt your battles.

Definately heaps around Kamagua Island on the west side of Howling Fjord.
There was an abundance of worg pups on the isle of spears on the western side of the map, i did laps of the island starting from Kamagu.
my first 14, 16th 18th 20th -22nd 24th-34th 36th-38th 40th 41st 43rd-45th 47th-54th 57th 59th-65th were all white or grey quality, my 15th 19th 23rd 35th 39th 42nd 46th 55th 56th 58th 66th-69th was green quality. on my 70th try i got my rare.
On the 34th i found a lvl 20 rare spider as a secondary pet and on my 45th a Rare lvl 21 Fjord rat as a secondary pet.Took me about 10 pet battle in order for me to get my rare. You can find them on the island to the west in the Howling Fjord. There are quite a few there, so its not too hard to find a rare if your looking for one. Most of the secondary pets that fight in the battle are critters.
Got a rare after my second battle, then went hunting for a turkey, got another rare pup.
captured a poor, upgraded to uncommon then hunted til i found a rare. took about an hour. all on the isle of spears like it was commented earlier. he is a beauty. good luck.
They're all over the Isle of Spears. The rare for this pet wasn't terribly hard to come by. Maybe four fights and he was mine. He's a great pet, hits quite hard, has good health. I got him at 2:10am server time on Whisperwind. Happy Hunting!!
While searching for a Rare Fjord Worg Pup
I also caught the following rares who were second and third pets during battles.. Devouring Maggot, Turkey and Skunk. Hope this helps :)
This guy is amazing against critters, hits like a truck, very easy to find, while capturing him i also got my maggot and turkey from the area.
he's one of my pets in my main 25 rotation, with his + 100 pct damage buff he can hit like a truck.
I also use him as a leveler, he's great with level 20's you're leveling with. having him at 25 you don't lose to npc's
First one I went into battle with was a rare. Caught him with 66 health left :) My Spider is my hero right now.
took about 30-40 tries to get a blue, wow!
Killed about a dozen of em and no rares...only uncommon. Odd....I gave up.
There are literally dozens of these guys on the Isle of Spears (Kamauga flightpath). They are available at all times of the day, and their numbers make this an excellent spot to level some teams. I took 4 teams through hear from lvl 18 to 21 and never want out of a worg to grind.
The Isle of Spears is where the flightpath for Kamagua is located (the tuskaar guys are there)
These mobs can be found around 33, 63 and 27, 60 on the Island of Spears. When I first got there I seen about 4 spawns of them, 9:45 PM server time. Also the Fjord Rats are sometimes mixed in with these spawns.
They are mixed in with a lot of red NPCs (lvl 70) so you might need to kill a few to have space.
Best to use Lil' Smokey for this battle. Works best! Since this lil' beasty fella isnt an elemental type.
It is all based by statistics and strategy. Best to research the Wild pet you want then make a plan for it!
