This pet uses the same model as Poley, but unlike Poley the Baby Blizzard Bear features a sit animation. It was rewarded via the mail when players logged in with a character during WoW's 4th Anniversary event between November 23rd and December 7th in 2008. In addition to receiving this pet, logging in also also earned your character the WoW's 4th Anniversary achievement.

So I look in my Pets folder, click on Filter, go to sources and uncheck World event, Promotion, Trading card game and Blizzard Pet Store. The Baby Blizzard Bear still shows as a not collected Pet. I'm confused.

I have this pet on my shamam, however he is not my pet collecting toon:( my pet collector is not that old but has over 100 pets. wish i had my warrior back when this came out.

Ok seriously, why blizzard, why let you transfer across accounts but not servers?? /cry they can move entire characters and banks but not a tiny little blizzard bear? Hes not so heavy, you could just flat rate him to the other server!

The news is out: we will not be getting a pet for the 6th anniversary. So, /sadpanda face time. I'm even more bummed out when nothing happened at The Olympics...

Blizzard should make it possible to buy some of these pets you can't get anymore in the game. I didn't play wow when this pet was available and I would love to have it.
To make et harder to get, they could make it more expensive if it is.

Despite the other comments, I recently had a GM refuse to replace the baby blizzard bear item, stating that "It was only for characters logged in during the anniversary and newly created characters cannot get it" :(
Just a heads up for others trying to get it back after deleting it or it having it go missing out of their bags.

ETA: Submitted another ticket and got a GM return the item. I now have an adorable baby blizzard bear!!

I love my baby blizzard bear. His little fuzzy cuteness makes up for my never being able to obtain the clockwork robot available at christmas in '07. I nicknamed him Snowman.

I want one but i was i guess to late to get one but my boyfriend got one and we started 1 week apart and he didnt get it until patch 3.1 boohoo still hopeing i will get one too but i dont see it happening :(

I sadly fear that this little cute companion (no longer obtanaible from game), is now not obtanaible also for new toons of the same account/realm... In fact I was used to send a copy of this to all my new toons, but now I noticed all the copy of this pet I had in my banks disappeared forever... But wait!
After two days waiting a response froma GM, asking why all my Baby blizzard bear summonig items were magically disappeared, it seems is a bug or something like that... the GM restored it!WOW!

In a few weeks, our blizz-baby turns 1 year old. Ah, that was one big surprise! I was so happy obtaining it! And don't forget the time when every player in Dalaran was followed by one of this bears. Tuskarrmageddon? More like Icebear Pandemia =D

What a "cool" little cub to celebrate four years of WoW! While he "bears" a striking resemblance to Poley, the way he struts and sits down is enough to make anyone "paws" at his cuteness. What? Can't "bear" my clever puns? "Chill" out, folks! Don't give me the "cold shoulder"! I can't "bear" the rejection!
