Loved this guy in the mid levels for catching wild rares much lower level than it. Got my rare little black ram with it easy as pie since it's starting abilities let me heal, mitigate dmg, and pick lightly at enemy HP without worying about killing my targets. And he's adorably colorful.
I love my Little Frog, mostly because I find him usefull in battle!
If you want to start with the highest level one, grab one in Zangarmarsh. From the looks of the wowhead battlepet maps, they seem to populate on the south side generally.
awesome little pet! I found a level 5 rare quality one in loch modan just near the dried up loch, and man, it was REALLY hard to capture. kept turning my pets into frogs (which leaves them unable to attack for a round) and healing itself. really excited to make use of it it future battles.
got mine in northern barrens
Mine changes color every time I summon him, which is neat! Does anyone else's frog do this or is a strange glitch?
Can be caught in Elwynn Forest around Crystal Lake. They are plentiful on the southeastern side of the lake.
Caught mine outside of right outside of Wailing Caverns in the Lushwater Oasis.
The rare quality version of this is a colour-changer, meaning it will change between different colours every time you summon it.
