Frogs are pretty sturdy fighters in general, but like the small vermin (rabbits, chipmunks, etc.) one can only hope for the day when the pet doesn't look like a handful of triangles stuck together with colour and school paste.
I found a rare at 12:50am server time, north of Akhenet Fields. They are around water or as added pets everywhere (in Uldum).
I have found, when searching for a rare, staring desperately at the top right corner of my screen, holding my breath, and pleading for it to turn blue, does not help.
However, when battling a rare, if you're afraid your last hit is going to kill it by mistake, closing your eyes and turning away does seem to help. Good Luck =)
Mac Frog, is Blizzard sponsored by McDonalds???
Found one as a secondary near the oasis in Uldum. Was powerleveling and didn't realize I was ill equiped to win the battle, so I lost my team and the Mac Frog. GRR!...sigh!
have YET to find a rare of one of these after MANY MANY battles nor the oasis moth ]:|
It came up a few times as a secondary with the scarabs around the Temple of Uldum
Where there is water there will be frogs.
