This is my closer pet against Farmer Nishi in Valley of the Four Winds. Eternal Strider takes out Siren and Toothbreaker easily when you know moves. Then wears down the Motthallus so I can bring in a pet to level for one move and then finish off with my Jungle Darter.
Finally got a rare after THREE DAYS of hunding in the Jade Forest.. leveled my Rogue from 88 to 90 just on those pet battles.
Grove Vipers, Garden Frogs and Jumping Spiders have a chanse of Jungle Darters appearing as 2nd or 3rd pet. I got mine of a Grove Viper just east of Pearlfin Village.
Bring a Terrible Turnip to catch this one, you don`t want to risk loosing a rare to an unlucky crit, plus their healing can mess with caging attempts.
This has been the most annoying rare to get in the Jade Forest. I have 3 rares of all the other pets in the zone, but I've only seen two rare Jungle Darters. The first one murdered my pets and the second got smashed by an unlucky 1k crit. ugh. I found the first rare along the river by Paw'don Village as a primary, the second was a secondary off a Jumping Spider at the north end of the Jade Serpent temple.
@Fogg - Yes, it does come as a secondary. By my own observations to Grove Viper and Garden Frog; And probably more.
i'm hunting for a rare & was looking for info if this comes up as a secondary pet in any battles, as the main ones seem pretty sparse.
Got a rare first battle at (46.0, 76.0) in The Jade Forest.
While not the best pet, this one is pretty good. Originally I just used it to help me in Pandaria since I didn't have too many 24+ pets but it kind of grew on me. I usually prefer pets that can do some lvl of healing, which this one can, but the damage just doesn't seem to keep up, making it decent but not perfect.
