After clearing the Isle of these little guys and not finding a rare, I decided to take an uncommon and use a stone on him. I looked for a rare for over 2 hours, battling every pet from the crab to the petrel. Picked up a rare or two of the 2nd and/or 3rd pets, but no rare crab! I'm going to try again today before I use up a stone, but I'm not going to hold my breath.

This guy is special, if you get the right breed. The 2 panda crabs are the only crabs with a P/P breed. This also means bigger heals, so he'll hit as hard as possible and have the largest possible heals, which will make up for health lower than the H/H breed.

Reirei is absolutely right. Windward Isle is the place to go to get this crab. With the exception of the Coral Adder, the Bucktooth Flapper and the special flying serpent babies, you can get all the Jade Forest battle pets in the Isle. I believe I saw all of the them as second or third pets to the Spirebound Crab and the Sandy Petrel. Watching the Pro Bowl, I got 2 pets to lvl 25 and got all the rares I was missing in the Isle...Good Luck!!!!
