The [Bag of Fishing Treasures] that drops this pet can be obtained by completing the daily fishing quest [70]Crocolisks in the City. Level 70+ is required to obtain the quest, but a Fishing skill of 1+ is all that's required to complete it. Note that this daily quest is randomly available among four other daily fishing quests.

As of patch 3.2, the drop rate from the [Bag of Fishing Treasures] that drops this pet was improved significantly from around 2% to roughly 60%.

Look out for other abilities that benefit from the Rip bleed effect. For example, all the crocolisks have Blood in the Water, and all bears have Maul.

shame all of these guys only come in the one crappy breed.. 3.

If you really are in love with this guy I suggest looking to see if there is another aquatic with the same set of abilities (no, I don't mean the other 3 you can get from the BC fishing daily).

I love this pet. His Rip ability combined with Blood in the Water is unstoppable.

Ive probably done the quest about 13-14 times over the last 6 months and no luck? yes im doing the right quest but im beginning to wonder whether this cute little lad has been removed???? while it is possible that i have just lucked out each time with a 60% drop rate from the bag and no one getting it lately im beginning to wonder???

He was the first out of the four crocodiles that I fished up back in the days. He is number to on my favourite pet list ^^

This is the only fishing pet I have left to get... got all the others including Strand Crawler, Magical Crawdad and Giant sewer rat... guess he is not called Chuck for nothing.

Chuck is the last of the crocs I have to collect and I check the daily every day hoping for crocs in the city. Since collecting the others I have now completed this quest 14 times and I'm still having no luck in getting this last elusive fellow :-(

me and my bro went throught alot of research for this guy now im freakin sad cuz i didnt get him in the bag of fishing treasures he was my favorite pet if it dosent work with the other character than i will stop my companion pet hunts

Well, I've just done two of the daily croc quests and have not received *any* of the croc pets. Nevermind how many of these I did in BC and never got one to drop - I'm not believing the "100% drop" rate and reduction in chances each one out.

Hopefully, I'll have more luck in the coming weeks! :)

The above comment seems to be true on my end, too. It takes a little of the magic out of gettin' Chuck on my first Croc in the City daily, but I'm still excited and loving Chuck!

Also, it should be noted that he makes two different sounds. They are both far from cute. I can't remember exactly since I haven't been on WoW yet today, but I believe one is a kind of gurgling sound and one is a gatory "meh."

For me Chuck was easy to get. I had done Crocolisks in the city daily three times and I got him. Got toothy the first time I ever did the quest. Two crocs in three trys pretty good I think. Can't wait till I get the other two :)

Just got Chuck earlier today and all I have to say is it took long enough since I got Muckbreath and Snarly within the first 2 weeks of doing the daily fishing. It may have taken a while since I had gotten a pet but it is so worth it in my opinion when you do finally get one. If you haven't gotten one yet, just keep trying.

Oh, wow, I'm jealous! The daily has not come around at *all* since I've been going for these toughies! : ( I guess i will just be all the happier when I *do* get them!

Update: Woot! I was right--- I *am* all the happier! I finally have all 4 of these little guys, though I think Chuck is my favorite. GL, all!

Here's a few for all of you fans of Barrens Chat: You don't collect Chuck — Chuck collects you. If you have 5 gold and Chuck has 5 gold, Chuck has more gold than you. Chuck doesn't kill Fel Reavers — they crumble to dust at the mere sight of him. The developers tried to nerf Chuck... emphasis on the word "tried".
