Item must be equipped to summon and keep the pet. Don Carlos is an elite NPC in the Caverns of Time: Old Hillsbrad Foothills. However, this item is only dropped in heroic mode with a 100% drop rate. Players must be honored with the Keepers of Time in order to gain access to heroic Old Hillsbrad Foothills.

I think I may save this pet for my Shaman. She gets lonely when running around in her ghost wolf form. And she's often 'hungry like a wolf' for a feral playmate. So this pet would be the perfect traveling buddy. Plus, a ghost wolf in a black sombrero? I'd pay good money to see that! Well, at least a few pesos...
