While fighting Kun-Lai Runts looking for a rare, I got a flawless humanoid battle stone. So I used the stone on my green Kun-Lai Runt, and haven't regretted it in the least. My lovely yeti looks awesome, hits like a mack truck, and can fill both beast and humanoid damage roles.

Not only that, but when you give him a magical pet biscuit, he gets HUGE. Like several times bigger than gnomes. He lopes along behind me, and is impressive. Definitely one of my favorite level 25s!

Well, I got my first, only so far, stone yesterday from the Winterspring daily. It was a dragonkin stone. There are not many dragonkin I need to upgrade and all are at uncommon or rare except one.

The only Emerald Proto Drake Whelpling I've seen so far is poor so I upgraded that one from poor to rare. It really felt quite awesome to change him from grey to blue. So much so I'll definitely be leveling him.

I've gotten three stones from bags so far.

Beast Stone went to my Baby Blizzard Bear. He was one of my first 25s. He was one of the core members of my team. It was meant to be!

Magic Stone went to my Minfernal. While I can camp and maybe, *maybe* get a rare, he is one of the very few that I didn't have in rare, and it was driving me to drink. Now I'll never have to worry about it again.

Undead Stone went to my Creepy Crate. I seriously considered my magic skull, but the crate was just sitting there giving me sad eyes...

my first was beast specific, used it to Baby Blizzard Bear, just felt that it deserves it if any. Second was universal stone, still sitting in my bags cos i don't dare ( O.O ) to use it on any cos i'm sure i'll regret afterwards for "wasting" it to something when i can think of better pet to upgrade... :p latest one was critter specific and used it to my mr. wiggles cos sorta started the pet battels with it and got it to lvl10 before realizing the differences between rares and uncommons and such... so... yeah, prolly gona keep leveling that from now on.

With the overabundance of Fel Flames I would have put those pretty low on my 'getting tired of farming' list. Personally I have 2 rare Fel Flames and already fired a third because it was breed 3.

Huminoid - Harpy Youngeling. I have an uncommon and shes only, like, lvl 5 and she hits hard AND gains back health every turn. She has yet to die on me even once in battle. I'm really hoping I can find one in the next 3 weeks cuse my guild is having a competition and half of them are actually putting several thousand gold on me to win. @.@ (helps that I'm the ONLY serious pet collector in the guild. I leveled a team to 25 well before I even bothered with panda land X3 )

Mechanical - Cogblade Raptor, though that might change. For now hes the only pet I have that isn't uncommon or rare so it bugs me when I see that white name.... >.<

Dragon - I'm split between nexus welp and infinant welp. Both are pretty good battlers.

Undead - I'm pretty sure my scourge welp.

Any others I'm not really sure about yet. :3

I saved up ~60 bags pre-patch and done all dailies every day since patch, so I've gotten the following so far:

1x humanoid -- Winter Helper, the move set has one of the higher damage outputs but the breedID makes her not amazing. Peddlefeet was the only reasonable alternative and I don't have any regrets, but I'm not using the Winter's Helper for anything since getting her to lvl 25.

2x dragonkin -- I broke down and rarified my poor breed 4 emerald proto-whelp. These are camped badly on my server(s) and I really wanted it for battling. The second stone is in my bags, waiting to see which of Infinite Whelp or Nexus Whelp I can get a breed 4 of first, and then I'll stone the other. The only dragonkin that's not already available as rare is the Proto-Whelp, and he's just an underwhelming version of Spawn of Onyxia -- plus his good moveset is duplicated on the emerald proto with better stats.

1x magic -- so torn! breed 4 minfernal, enchanted broom, jade owl, or legs. I'm leaning toward the broom but I just can't pull the trigger.

1x critter -- no idea, it may as well not exist, since the critter choices are so bland. Probably Wolpertinger, or maybe Red Cricket, since apparently I'm Sho's best friend, but not good enough to get a rare.

1x aquatic -- same, there's no aquatic with a unique moveset that's not already available in rare. Technically, Fishy and Tiny Goldfish have unique movesets, but the abilities I choose are duplicated on Purple Puffer with much better stats.

1x beast -- Feline Familiar, this was an easy choice.

I need mechanical, undead, and flyer stones the most, but haven't seen any (Mechanical Pandaren Dragonling, very useful vs the darkmoon tamer; Ghostly Skull; Gilnean Raven and Yellow Moth). I also haven't gotten a stone in the past 3 days, doing all the dailies. Very grumpy.

You're very welcome! Feline Familiar are most likely my first beast to get an upgrade too, largely because so many others think its a good idea. It has to be something to it!

I'm amazed at how many of you have gotten so many stones. I've done a bunch of dailies every day and have only got 1 stone so far.

Haven't seen a single drop from actual wild pet battles yet.

Thundering Serpent Hatchling Also comes in uncommon, or it least it did when I learned it

I used my first Flawless stone on my Spawn of Onyxia. I was told this is a pretty rare pet, and haven't managed to find anymore since the pandaria patch released. (I didn't have the xpac when it first came out, so all I could do was pet battle....and I got addicted)

Lionell is still sitting at level 12, patiently waiting in line to be leveled to 25. (I'm naming all of my dragonkin after the knights of the round table, haha)

Waiting to find more stones to upgrade the rest of my dragonkin family.

I FINALLY got an upgrade stone! Aquatic flawless, and it went to my Sea Pony since it took me hours of farming/fishing to get him when the new Darkmoon Faire was first launched. I don't know if he will ever be a battler, but I love having him in my stable of "favorites".
