Am I the only one that lost a battle stone?

I got my first one last night, Flawless Battle-Stone (no family requirement, was so happy!)
And then I was hesitating between using it on my Personnal World Destroyer or Magic Lamp.. and poof it disapeared from my bags

I have a question about the battle stones if I may. Do they drop from wild pet battles or PVP pet battles? Also is there a level limit on them? I mean could one drop from a lvl 1 vs 1 pet battle or pvp battle?

My input is small since I haven't actually been finishing many battles recently (mostly searching for new rares). I received two flawless magic stones: one from a daily baggie, one from capturing a rare oily slimeling in the Borean Tundra.

Ah, so they come with capturing as well? Did you have to kill a second wild with it or was it solo?
