Lol moments collecting

So last night, before server reset, I decide to hit Kalimdor and look to fill some gaping holes in my collection. Since I only have 160 some pets I have a bunch missing. I see that Darkshore has a couple of zone specific pets and go on the lookout for them. I get the snail and then work on the Darkshore Cub. This is where it gets funny. I get one cub, a rare, and go after another. WIth my three pets I battle the next cub, but cannot capture the silly thing. Darkshore cub has hibernate and as I fight it the silly thing keeps going to sleep and pretty much heals up full every time. It's only when my last pet, another Darkshore cub goes into battle do I win. I am not sure how many rounds it took but the battle last well over 10 minutes. My bear would attack enough for the other would go into hibernation, then I would have to go into hibernation at some point. Eventually I did get him down enough to capture him, but I was laughing the whole time. The downside was that he was only an uncommon.

My other lol moment happened last night also. I am in Winterspring and go after some Rabid Nut Varmint 5000. Not only do I get one rare, but I manage to collect three rares in a span of 15 minutes!

My LOL moment was in Northern Stranglethorn at the Nessingwary camp. I was looking for a rare Crimson Moth at the time and had all the others. Well, as I checked the pet spawn around the camp there was literally a different rare in every single spawn. The entire zones worth... except the ONE moth I was looking for. I took a screenshot. I'll have to upload it laters.

I swear someone was trolling me.

Oh man where to start. I was in deepholm to get one of each of the Shale Hatchling. I had them 2 BUT as i find a rare Emerald. Who was 2nd in line. Being very carful i ... KILLED it every time for a HOUR! id sit down log out and start over. By the time i finally had it i was so crazed i almost killed my pets off on last battle. Whin i finnished it and won. I gave up battleing rest of the night. I was sure i was cursed. LOL

The two pets that I had left to get in Stranglethorn were the Baby Ape and a rare Crimson Moth. I finally manage to log on in the rain and battle a Baby Ape. What pet does it have as a partner? A rare Crimson Moth. There was cursing when I decided to off the Ape to get the Moth, but luckily I managed to snag another Baby Ape before the rain stopped (poor, but I don't mind... much ).

Then, yesterday, the almost same thing happens. The first Kun-Lai Runt that I fought had a rare that I was looking for as a companion. I chose the rare and captured it, but after the battle I made a mistake (still don't know how) and released the rare instead of the uncommon that I captured previously. Much cursing followed...

Well, its 5.1 patch now, and my first two stones was aquatic, and since speedy is such a crappy PvP pet, I went to find a nice aquatic I could upgrade. I already had a rare health breed Emperor Crab, so I went to find the power breed to upgrade. The third snail I fought in Dread Wastes came with a rare Emperor Crab power breed of course, so now I am still searching for that aquatic to upgrade...
