Does Onyxia share spawns?

I've noticed a lot of rats, frogs, mice and snakes spawning in similar locations to where Spawns... spawn. I've been clearing them in the hope that they share spawn points and it gives an extra chance at an Onyxia spawn. But I've also noticed that nobody else does this. So, am I wasting my time?

In my experience, it does help to clear them out. Other campers are just lazy.

Yes it definitely helps. The other campers are either lazy or don't realize that killing the critters / battle pets in the area will speed up respawns of the Spawn of Onyxia.

The only downside to this is that I'm effectively doing all the work for other people's benefit as well :/
