Try our Pets by Zone tool:

http://www.warcraftpets.com/guides/pets/wow-pets-by-zone/?wild=Y

We've recently posted a major update to that tool to make it easier to use. It now provides more useful sorting and filtering options.

full edit:

wondering if its possible to do a map type thats clickable for levels, pets found, conditions for certain pets .. etc

would do something like this: (in stages)

World Map: Maybe use colord markers for LEVEL RANGES (example, red dot = L1-3, orange dot = 4-7, yellow dot = 8-12, etc)
Image

Local Map: Clicked on specific area of World Map (in this case Wetlands)

The LOCAL MAP would list creatures found (set by color and overlay to match) and any special conditions for specific pets (raining, snowing, etc)

ugh, sorry for all the editing ...

also, for the addon you guys have .......

Maybe have it "realtime" see when ppl get a new pet, type, rareity, stats, exact location, time, weather conditions, etc. Log that and update via the site.... i know how annoying giant databases are, but, it would help out .. maybe?
