Thanks for the encouragement Swiftwind. I think I'm extra-frustrated with it partly because I read that if you have all the rares for a race, that race is less likely to drop. I grinded Nelf for MONTHS when Cata first hit trying to get the stinking trinket, and it's still the only nelf drop I don't have and it's still not dropping. I've made hundreds of gold in the past few days off nelf commons and I can't get the rare to proc. If it would proc, the nelfs would become less common... but no... gr. I'll pick it up again, but it may be quite a bit after MoP hits. Got a road trip this weekend, going to be away from wow. /withdrawal noises I won't be back 'til the night before Mists ... then there's so much to do! Who'll have time for old arch after that? But someday I will have it! I will!

Sometimes they increase the drop rate on older stuff, when a new expansion hits. Hopefully the claw will be easier to find. I'm not currently doing arch with Lysi, who has a few Tol’vir rares. I'll wait until after MoP so she can get leveling XP again. She's still looking for the claw and the mount.

Just did Theramore. One of the guys in my group must have done it on a dozen alts already, because I was just racing after him, tabbing targets, and slamming buttons, lol. I can't say it was interesting, since I have no idea what happened. I thought you got a tabard or something, but I just got a mini mana bomb. I don't think I'll bother with Alliance side. They say if you want to know anything about this expansion you have to read the Jaina book.

So the other day I changed my facebook header pic to MoP artwork, it had the characters from the new commercial. A friend who is not a gamer, at all, said she saw the commercial and thought another kung fu panda movie was coming out. She was very disappointed at the end of the commercial, when she found out it wasn't a movie. I'm not making this up, lol. I found it amusing, given all the arguments on the WoW forum about "getting the idea" from kung fu panda, yadda yadda, even though pandaren first snuck into WoW lore in 2002. I've never seen kung fu panda myself, any good?

The sunflower quest is now a daily! I knew they originally meant to make it a daily, guess they finally fixed it.

I'm in the same boat as you lysi, I went to Theramone today had no idea what was going on and just spent the first 3 acts following people, I got told to get the barrels and by the time I found one they were on Part 2 . Still enjoyed blowing up the siege engins ( was on horde ).

Sunflower quest is a daily !! cool my husband and I realy enjoyed doing that although I did get a bit stressed the first time around.
My social char DK is now L84 with 4 bars to go so saturday she will be 85 and ready for MoP.
Only a few days away now , cant wait.
One last note I'm sooo glad that the daily limit has been removed, It was always dificult having to chose what ones at the end of the day to do. Would have been very dificult with MoP as there will be pet dailies as well as so many new factions.

As far as the kungfu panda films go , As all films its down to individual taste.
Some films gets realy bad reviews but we like them while others are hyped up and we find them absolute rubbish.
Personaly Kungfu panda 1 and 2 are good films, we found them funny with good story lines in them. We found they were well put together and had a good flow. Somtimes when we want a film on just for a light entertainment night, out comes Po.

Was realy hoping to complete the guild achievment slayer today, got my hubby on aliance side and asked in trade chat about any dwarf warlocks willing to earn 1k gold for 5 mins and got no reply except the usual replies "why a dwarf, gnome warlock do? havnt seen any ". And there it was on the achievments, now not only do I need a dwarf warlock but I need all the Panda ones as well, oh the frustration.

We sat and thought a bit about it and my other half went looking for horde guilds on other realms.We got lucky and found a nice friendly raid/social guild with all achievments ( horde side ) so we contacted a officer there and we are in.
So now I have my main hunter, sub hunter and druid (horde) a Druid and DK (aliance ) .
All of these are on my main realm.
and 2 DK's on other realms as socials, one in a Aliance guild and the other in a Horde one.Once they get the gold and guild rep I can access all the guild pets.

Alot simpler than trying to find a dwarf warlock...

I was on when it switched. There's just too much to do! The quest popped up on the toon I'm planning to level first. So I did the little movie scene, and then flew down to the dock. A million people on the boat! Someone said it had been sitting there for 9 minutes. I wasn't planning to stay up much longer, so I thought it might be better to do something else. (Edit: Everyone was on the boat, but you actually need to go to the zeppelin in the air, lol.)

I played around with the panda creation screen for a while. As I feared, they haven't added a female pandaren face with a bigger nose, or a snaggletooth (even though they've had one on some of the gal panda art), or anything. Just the same Care Bear face on all of them, you can only change the pattern. The goblin had so many options, even like nose length, it was disappointing. That said, I did enjoy playing with the patterns and colors. I haven't made the panda yet, I want to play with the options some more. I always fiddle with the character creation screen long enough to get logged out once or twice, at least, lol.

Next I checked the battle pets section of the AH on one of my servers. Both that, and the normal pet section, only had stuff for outrageously high prices. I hope no one is foolish enough to waste their gold. To post pets, I had to disable my AH add on, it didn't recognize the caged pets as an item. I only put on a couple items at lower prices. One thing that really interested me was the deposit, you can sell like the Winterspring Cub without being killed on the over 12 gold deposit of the original. I put one on for less than it sells for in Winterspring.

I don't have anything scheduled today, but I didn't get much sleep and I don't want to be a total wreck tomorrow since I have a routine doctor's appt tomorrow. She might ask what happened to me with the bags under my eyes, lol. Still I'll probably be up half the night. XD

But seriously, I've gotten two tanks to 90 in the past week, and done an amazing number of dailies. And there's proffs to grind and alts to level and dungeons to run and raiding soon and pets to battle... Not enough hours in the day!

And gratz Bindibear on your 2 90's, as for me I'm 89 and still a fair few bars to go on my main but will get there soon enough

Now got over 400 pets with loads to go and even more rares to find.

How are you all finding the farm at Half Hill, I can only plant 4 seeds a time atm but I cant wait to start seriously with it.
Terrible turnip will be a big help in catching the pets I still got to get.

trouble is I have only 1 quest so I missed somthing somwhere,, Soz correction My HUSBAND missed somthing somwhere ( now why would I take the blame ) Gonna have to go through the areas and search for quests aslong as I dont get distracted by pet battles.

You realy should try the brewery dungeon its a simple run with 3 bosses , on one boss chars have to jump on barrels but I just let the others in the group do that.

At the end you want to do the Hopper achievment .its realy simple and fun.
Best advice on the rabbits is to SHIFT V so you see their health bars. 30 rabbits to find in a empty dungeon simple and fun.

You'll get more farm plots at 90 after you start doing dailies.

My belf hunter is in the Jade Forest and NPC scan goes off. I find the NPC, I don't know anything about the Pandaren rares but it turned out to be Urobi the Walker. An 85 Alliance moonkin is standing right in front of him, not doing anything. I waited a moment, and my husband says, well, when you find those rares you just gotta go for it. So I started shooting. It took a crazy long time because Urobi kept healing himself. But I just tossed a pet heal on my t-rex once and a while, and his health stayed close to full the whole time. My belf never got hurt. So I just kept at it. Eventually it become obvious I'm going to take this guy down. The moonkin was still hanging around, and at this point a whole bunch of text saying "makes rude gestures" goes by. Even though it took a long time, no other Alliance showed up, so if he was like waiting for someone to help him with Urobi, they took forever. So after I kill Urobi, the moonkin challenged me to a duel, and then challenged me 2 more times, then clucked at me. I don't duel, I just ignored him. Did I do something wrong here? Does just standing by a rare mean you own it? I don't understand this game.

I think ... I may have settled on four pets to level. Mojo, Panderan Monk, Onyxia Whelpling and the Crimson Lasher ... and a crab for catching stuff. And maybe a mechanical ... probably my gnome... and...

um... nevermind what I said to start with lol

I did some dailies on the dk today, for a faction I'm revered with on the druid. The double rep is amazing. Also, revered with the Cloud Serpent Order!

I got "the Hallowed" title, woohoo! I never PvP, so last night I did a battleground for the first time. And it was awful, lol. But it's done now and my character has a title near and dear to her heart. I had many of the achievements from previous years, but I don't have the mount. Do you have to be 90 to try this year? I'm only 88, but working on it.

Brewfest was 89, so maybe check your dungeon finder then?

I'd offer to heal-bot you in pvp if we had toons of a similar level on a similar server. I love hpally pvp.

I bought an extra red cricket, not realizing they can't be caged to sell on another server, lol. So now I need good names for a pair of red cricket twins. XD

I need to post this in the scream and cry section, lol. I'm still trying to build my gold back up on the server where I bought the DMR and Bananas, so I've been selling a lot of pets. Tonight, I don't know if the bug was in my auction house add on, my computer (key input has been a little weird), the auction house itself, or what, but some of my pets had crazy low prices, not the prices I typed in. What really broke my heart was the Giant Sewer Rat selling for only 3 gold! I also lost a Dun Morogh Cub, a Tiny Spore bat, and some others, but most of the auctions look normal. I don't think I could make that many mistakes. Has anyone else had a problem like this? I guess I'll try a different auction add on. Well, I hope the person who got the rat appreciated it.

In my opinion, absolutely not. I don't know where people get this self-righteous idea that rares and nodes belong to them.

Yes, there's common curtesy - if a player is fighting a mob right on top of a mining node, I'll usually wait to see if they mine it afterwards. If I can help, I usually assist in downing the mob. If the fight is going on for a while, I'll say, "You a miner?" etc.
But you have to draw the line somewhere. And to be honest, if you're AFK, the rare or node is up for grabs.

Even when I have nodes or rares nicked from me, I just move on. Why? First come, first serve. Also, it might be just a case of screen lag, that when you 'zone' in, it takes a second or so, for the game to generate some scenery. It's not always rudeness or greediness.
