the problem with breedIDs is that it is kind of obscure. players had to do some digging to show it, and now we need an add on to show us the breed.
therefore i fully agree with your suggestion regarding flayers and co. at least there, the differences are visible, and we actually benefit from stat differences by being able to add more, distinct pets to our collection.

So good suggestions!! I love the idea of being able to trap more than one pet per battle. I hate when you get 2 rare pets and you want both of them!! And definitely increase the quality of the really rare pets.
One that I did not see is that once you have defeated all of the pets, your pets can no longer take damage from DoTs. There have been several times when my pet died from poison or some other DoT immediately after killing the last of opponent's pets. So then I would not get credit for the kill. I'd love to see that changed.

Increased drop chance on Pet Battle Stones or another alternative route to upgrading pets rarity.. I've gotten 2 battle stones out of the 900+ battles I've won... >.<"
Honestly seems pointless to capture a rare spawn pet that isn't rare quality regardless of the breed id. >.<"
