Original post got me interested in checking out BMAH and bidding for pets. After 4 days, no longer bothering.

People are crazy, consistently pay more, sometimes way more for a pet they could pick up on the regular AH for lot less. First example, Hyacinth Macaw, started out at 1,000 g so of course I bid. I mean, was selling for 18K on my realm. Ended up going for 42K!

Other pets I watched -- didn't bother with the ones starting at 1K when they were lot cheaper on AH -- always seemed to sell for more than the going AH price.

Yeah that got me wondering too. There war a [pet]Tuskarr Kite[/pet] some days ago, which ended at 150k. In the realm auction house those usually are worth 100k. Really strange.

Even having such a website, I'd keep noting the statistics to see them over time!

I've noticed crazy bids aswell. A month or so ago there was an [pet]Ethereal Soul-Trader[/pet] that became capped despite 80k-150k AH price. Forgive me that pun, but try to outbid that!
However, I've also seen these recent Black Tabby Cats going for 11-12k, what's quite a decent deal.
