what's a good pet to sell?

I need to make a few extra gold. I was wondering what is a good pet to sell that isn't impossible to obtain?

The simplest answer: any pet, if you level and rare stone it (if needed) before you sell it. It can add about 1-2k to the sale price, depending on the server and buyers of course.

Also if a server is heavily imbalanced horde/alli, even things like vendor pets from the less populated side will sell a little more easily.

For the time .. I'd say the pandaren spirits..water sells for lots esp.

Son of Sethe sells for about 20-25k..rare leveled to 25. I sold 4 of them this week already. Good luck!

Or you can do what I do, and that is buy a bunch of the green pets that go for like 10g and then stone them all and resell them for a couple hundred. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't and I end up putting them into my guild bank for free. I have such an excess of stones that I really have no other use for them.

Its always a gamble with pets.

I just bought one for 2000 gold and leveled it to 25. Let's see what it brings.

as i have a lot of alts who do nothing but Darkmoon faire once a month, i make some extra cash selling DMF pets, tonks and zeps sell fastest, most for around 2k a pop.

The zep especially is an amazing pet in several tamer battles. Definitely worth getting a second if you're looking to make some gold.
