Sounds mortifying to me. I dunno if I spend my time playing wow alone (as many friends on there that i have :) ) and want to meet thousands of others who play IRL.

This will be my 6th year attending and my boyfriend's first. Hopefully, I'll get to see [profile]Doobjanka[/profile] again at the WCP meet up. See you guys there! :)

My husband and I are going, we go every year because its not too far for us since we are living in California. We stopped by the warcraftpets table last year, it's great to see the pet collectors and I hope to see you guys again this year! It would be nice to see more pet related events/booths at Blizzcon. I also would love to see PvP pet battling get the kind of attention at Blizzcon that arena and recently Hearthstone gets with the live tournaments. They should have pet pvp tournaments and broadcast them on the big screen like the arena tournaments!

My wife and I are going and would love to meet any fellow pet collectors! What is the best way to connect?

This is our second year to attend. We had so much fun last year we decided to go again. We went to the benefit dinner the night before the con's official opening. The opportunity to chat with game masters, programmers, artists, fellow players, and the execs was wonderful.

I have neither the time nor money to attend to the blizzcon. Virtual ticket is good enough right ?
Right ?

I have never utilized the Virtual Ticket option but it shows great to me. You receive all the goodies that attendees do and you can watch everything in your pajamas if you want with the cat languishing beside you and WOW flying along the banks of the Tanaan Jungle.

Each year, Warcraft Pets has a meetup at Blizzcon. You can meet fellow pet collectors and even get some cool goodies. The date and time is usually posted on this website prior to the con. I've been going to the meetup for quite a few years now, it's a lot of fun :)

My BF and I would love to go but unfortunately, being in the UK, we'd not only have to win the "ticket lotto" but we'd have to save up some serious cash for flying over etc. :?

We are determined to get there one day though! Until then, the virtual ticket helps. :D

I'm Australian, so get the virtual ticket for obvious expensive travel reasons. :) It's great, and probably preferable to being stuck in a crowd of people. And yep, I can watch in my PJs with a cat on my lap.

I'm a bit more excited now that Linkin Park is playing. I'm not a Metallica fan so didn't even watch last year's closing concert.
