Hello,

I've just received my first message from a WCP user, thanking me for a post I made on the forums. It had sat in my junk mail filter for a week because I'm lazy and forgot to check it.

I've been online on this forum all week and there was no indication I'd received a message.

Is it possible to add something to the site to highlight when you've been emailed?

Or even better, introduce a Private Message system to the forums?

Has anyone else had good or bad experiences with this sytem?

I think that is a very good idea. I have also had messages from fellow users end up in my spam folder. It would be so much easier if the site had messaging built in rather than just going through email.

Of course, I use other sites that do have messaging built in and have not noticed the little icon telling me that I have a message until long after the message had been sent, so neither method is fool proof.

This is has brought up before. Doesn't look like its coming any time soon.
