enemy pets going twice

Seen this lots and know others have experienced the same thing and I think I know why it is happening. Every time I miss a turn is after a stun and often it is either my last pet or my current pet is unable to be swapped for some other reason. Being stunned and rooted causes you to automatically skip your turn. However I usually press the pass button out of habit which SHOULD do nothing but I think it causes you to skip your NEXT turn.
